    You have to tip upfront, before they have provided a service worth a tip, and there is no support available for orders on their way but delayed over and over for no explanation. ignored my better judgement and tried again, but disappointed yet again. Quicker and cheaper to use kerbside, and you food won’t get cold waiting for other meals to get prepared.

    Honestly I should have trusted my gut from the beginning and cancelled the order. Long story kind of shortened: I was trying to put in an order while at work but since I’ve had them deliver to my house that’s the address it was trying to send it too. Before finalizing the order I changed the address and delivery instructions and placed the order. The app must have bugged out because when it let me start tracking the order it said it was going to be delivered to my home. I tried to change it myself without cancelling the order but realized I couldn’t so I called GrubHub. The lady had me on hold after I told her the problem and she said she was going to try to get a hold of the driver to tell them the new address. A few minutes on hold she finally comes back and says since there’s no driver assigned yet she said once there was one assigned she would have them call/text me for the new address and instructions. About almost 20 minutes later (maybe like 25/30 minutes after placing the order?) it finally shows it’s on route. I didn’t get a call or text like I was told so I went into the chat system to make sure the driver was going to the right place. After a few pretty unnecessary “confirmation” questions I was getting pretty annoyed, I told them the driver was about to turn down my street and for the third time gave them the right address and that they need to tell him where to go. The worker tells me she’s not answering her phone and that they gave her the new address (although my driver was a he, not she). The map is completely blank at that point, I can’t see where the driver is and they can’t get a hold of them and it seems like they’re not even trying to so I ask for the drivers number so I can try to help them out (I know most company’s don’t give out info like that but since the lady on the phone told me the driver would text or call me when they picked up my order, I assumed that they could?). After hearing nothing back for a while and not knowing where on earth the driver is I called and cancelled my order. I was half an hour past my scheduled lunch and I needed to clock out and find something to eat. I finally get a response back on the chat and I told them I didn’t need anymore help and that I cancelled. The worker said they were reading through my old chats and then messaged 10 minutes later saying that they cancelled the order and issued a refund (although I already called in and cancelled). I wanted to check to make sure the driver wasn’t still trying to find me so I asked if he was notified, and that I felt bad that he had to run around (because of an issue that wasn’t even my fault). I got a message back saying he would know when the order got cancelled, and that he would have a bad day after hearing I cancelled. The way they said(typed) it made it sound like they were saying it was my fault and they asked if I needed further assistance. I said no and ended the chat and went back to my lunch. I was still pretty ticked off about the whole thing so I tried to give feedback/file some sort of complaint through the chat system and after the worker “looked into it” and asked me if that was the reason I cancelled it, he told me they couldn’t give out any personal information (like that was the only thing wrong out of the situation). I told him I know that and that I still wanted to file the complaint since their communication was so bad through the whole ordeal and I got no response back, so I closed my phone and had to go back to work. I didn’t get any confirmation that they actually took my feedback so now here I am, writing this review. Honestly I’m just going to go back to Uber Eats, Taco Bell isn’t worth dealing with GrubHubs awful communication and customer service.

    Grubhub is the worst. I’ve had so many issues, late deliveries, canceled orders. Even when I call the restaurant they tell me to use DoorDash. I used the 10 dollar code they gave me from my last canceled order and here I am starved and waiting on my late delivery.

    They never delivered my order and still charged me. When I asked for a refund they said they don’t do refunds and just gave me two gift cards which I still had to pay tax and a little extra towards them so I didn’t really get my money’s worth if I had to come out of pocket ! Terrible service and they need to have an option for not delivered so we do not get charged.

    I have used GrubHub for the third and FINAL time. I am usually the one to pop on and give a positive review, as most are inclined to only review when disappointed. My first order was uneventful. My second order was a complete disaster. I was given a coupon code and not permitted to use it. After MUCH persistence, I was refunded the code portion as well as given another code for free delivery. I just attempted to use that one, and it said “code expired.” There was no expiration date in the email. Not worth the hassle, there are too many other delivery services out there. Good bye GrubHub.

    This has changed what I have ordered so many times that it is an unreliable app. Customer service tells you sorry for an inconvenience and hangs up with you. If you want your order correct, use a different app.

    Love love love the idea when I get home from work I don’t want to go out and eat it’s 9:30! And Uber eats dosen’t deliver where I am and I can’t cook so when I found out about Grubhub I tried it was amazing! So many good restraunts to pick from always on time good service good food! I recommend you try this app.

    My only reason I don’t order more often is the high delivery charge on top of a tip for the driver. I wonder why it’s $7. I’ve only ordered from Slice twice and both times had issues with delivery. May try UberEats next time.
