I’ve made Slacker my default music app. I love the ‘My Favorites’ station. Evolving over time. Accumulating ‘liked’ songs, and songs of similar artist and genres. You truly create your own station. Perfect for my commute. The $25/year ad free version is a bargain compare to others I’ve tried. Give Slacker a try. I think be impressed.

See wish list below :) I've been a Tier 2 Premium for 5+ years because it simply is a superior offering to Sirius/XM due to the user’s ability to fully control the experience and listen to albums, create custom playlists, build stations with seeded artists, the offline capability, the Fine Tuning option (which is an awesome, under marketed feature), and the ability to disable annoying DJ's (deactivating Slacker's "Host" stops the DJ). These are features Sirius and many of Slacker’s competitors don’t offer to the same degree. Where Slacker has fallen behind is in the area of marketing and technical interfaces, one that must be rectified before it results in irreversible damage to the business as we know it. I’m happy to see they just launched an Alexa interface but it is rough and has some ways to go, but it is a start. Where Slacker excels is in the area of preprogrammed stations for those of us who don’t always want to build our own. There are quite a few niche stations I listen to that the competitors can’t match in quality and have kept me as a subscriber even after trialing the competition. The current app is intuitive but lacks documentation so expect to find hidden features by mistake. For example, dragging a playing station (full screen) to the right will reveal assignable presets (like the buttons in your car); holding down on the << or >> to rewind or FF a track (or drag the progress bar) (at least for subscribers); and the Fine Tuning option to redefine stations based on Newer/Older, Hits/B-Side, Host on/off, and Favorite tracks More/Less often. Slacker once had lyrics that disappeared with the loss of their third party source; a replacement would help their competitiveness. Issues that need fixing: —Marking a station anywhere in a category (which could be 30 stations) for Offline, Favorite, Etc. causes the confirmation message to appear, and the list to bounce to the top, losing my place. Can it hold our place? —Group Favorites by System category, or filter System Categories to reveal only those marked as Favorites. (Or custom groups). I’m reluctant to Favorite too many in the existing environment because they list/group in no particular order and become unmanageable and take too long to scroll. Or put a filter on the Favorites list. Something! —Add slide over to iPad please. —Do Preset Buttons reset with every new version? Do settings roam to other devices?

It will no longer even let me on to my account or even make one to listen to music anymore. Guess it’s time to move on to something that doesn’t waste my time.

They take away songs for some reason I don’t know why but it’s getting annoying I really don’t recommend at all.

Ok, so I have only Music on my apple device. I move all around the world because I am a military child, right now I am not in the Us or Canada which is the only place where this app allows me to play music. And you have to pay to listen to music.
  • Youre a DJ...just play the music

Ive had the app for a while now, and am tired of the DJs thinking they need to push their political agenda on the listeners... Im a legal American and don’t appreciate the President (current or passed) being bashed because he is doing what he was chosen to do. You're a DJ just play the music and shut your mouth, we don't need your negative mouth bringing us down, leave that to the nightly news...

I have always been a huge fan of slacker radio. The music awesome with out a bunch of repeats. However i am now sitting at airport and it won’t work saying I need a security code or enter letters below which are not present. My security code is not working. So not sure what’s going on.

So glitchy I stopped using a while ago. Then you just teased me with a notification, I click on it and you take me to the homepage where I can not find what you were notifying me about anywhere. Notifications are supposed to take you what you are notifying me about. But I guess you wouldn’t know that since you barely know how to make an app that works.
