  • Was great what happened!

    By Sethh
The app has work great for years but this week it's been shorting me miles. The same route it's recorded accurately time and time again are now half a mile short. So that screws up my time that screws up my distance. very frustrating will be looking for a different app. I've had friends who have commented the same when I've asked them about it. it's been shorting other people miles as well.
  • Irritating Camera Auto Request

I love this app! It’s pretty accurate, easy to use, and has kept me on target for my training. Major life changer. Tells you your pace, splits, mileage, and calories burned. I have more good things than bad things to say... but.. After a year of consistent use here are my beefs- I say pretty accurate because if you pause the workout and start it up again, it is totally incorrect and records you at a much faster pace which can be nice in a fake congratulatory way- “I always knew I could run a 6 min mile! “ It does also hog your battery life like an all consuming starving little monster. I find it weird that the preset calculation on my runs is calories burned rather than, mileage or pace. Really? When I’m in the middle of a run, panting and dying, the first thing I want to see is calories burned? Versus, say, how much longer my god for saken run is gonna be. But, the most irritating thing is the five hundred automatic photo prompts - “xyz wants access to your photos” is constantly on the screen instead of the actual run! Guess what - I don’t want a lame work out photo and if I say no once to access to my photos then stop stalking me. Other than these small irritations, I really love it and have had a great experience with it.
  • Had to delete watch app

    By BrandonZmn
I recently started using to map bike rides. I tried using the app on my watch so I could check quickly time and distance. After a while the watch would pause itself and I would miss out on a bunch of tracking. Also, once I allowed the app on my watch, it would constantly run, even when I wasn’t using the app on my phone. I could swipe the app to close it. Go to check the time and it’s running again. Draining the heck out of my battery. Also while it was running, it will randomly decide to start playing my music. Had to remove the app from my watch. Just now upon accidentally opening the app up, it automatically started playing my music again, even though I closed the app before it even got past the loading screen.
  • Best Running App

    By Spolia_Opima
This is by far the best running app you can get
  • Hidden charges

    By sharster1
Don’t know how it happened, but I started using the app (and my daughter used it), and suddenly I was notified I was going to be charged a fee for the app. There was no information on how to stop the charge. Ugh. After messing around with the apple support people, I got it figured out. But what a hassle. And I deleted the app and got a different running app so I won’t have to worry about sneaky charges again.

Great app to keep track of my mile times and routes.
  • Inaccurate Distance Tracking

    By Blackbeltpaul
I ran a half marathon with it and the mile markers weren’t even close to what the app was saying in my head phones. It told me I ran way farther than I actually did. I also suspected something when I ran the same route different days and got completely different distances. 🤔
  • Great for tracking

    By a102304c
Love this app for all my runs/walks/rides. I like to know my distance, time, and pace. The splits are great, and it’s nice to be able to look back at what I’ve done over the seasons. Easy to use, no glitches that I e experienced.
  • Latest Upgrade Issue

    By OG Misty
I’ve enjoyed this app for several years now. However, the latest upgrade does not automatically shut off the music when you press hold to finish like it used to. I don’t like having to take an extra step to turn off the tunes.😏
  • Workouts don’t sync

    By mahepherd25
I have been a long time user of map my run on my phone. I recently began training for a half marathon. I have been using my phone but decided yesterday to use my watch to see if my pace was more accurate. I started the workout and at the end, I stopped and saved the workout. I was so excited to check my splits on my phone because it was my best average pace. The workout never synced to my phone. It’s been over 24hours now and I checked the “synced workout” section and it says all workouts are synced. Frustrating but whatever, it happens. Today, I started my run on the app to try again. It showed it had started and off I went. Looked at my watch to check my pace and it was on the choose a workout screen! Not only that, but it wouldn’t (and still won’t despite closing the app completely) let me start a new workout. I had to delete the app from the watch and reinstall it after my run. Ended up just using the phone app instead of the watch. Please fix this, it’s incredibly irritating. No point in having the app if it doesn’t work properly.
