  • Skipping

    I love this app but recently is been skipping songs in my library on my Playlists. Annoying when I have to keep going back to hear a song I know I missed.

    Had the app for years and was wonderful. After I upgraded it started acting funny with the way it loaded and started skipping songs on its own as well as forcing the volume of songs down. Other then that it works great and I use it every day. Works just as advertised and expected other then those few hitches
  • The app slows everything down and even stops internet connection

    I wanted to like IHeart Radio but every time, I download the app (which I have downloaded and re downloaded multiple times), it significantly slows my internet connection or even stops it. It also takes forever to load one song on the app and much can't be done on the app when a song is buffering. I even tried closing apps and deleting one or two apps and the app still slows everything down- a lot or even stops apps and the internet all together. Every time, I download the app, the internet stops working and as soon as I delete the app, everything on my phone works normally and fast again. I like that there is a decent selection to choose from (although it seems like Apple Music and Google Play have more variety in music) and the radio station selection is awesome. This app would be great if only the app didn't slow things down. I really wish this app worked. If only it were fast and didn't halt internet connection. I've never had these problems with any other music streaming app.
  • BEWARE: Unauthorized Charges

    During a recent update the app prompted a deceptively worded message prompting a paid upgrade. I clearly clicked the “not now” button after reading it three times, but the app had other things in mind. Come to find out I have been charged $7 for an app I barely use (save for one station), lacks intuitive features, and crashes regularly. Best of all - the app decided to use my PayPal account, which is otherwise disconnected from my ApplePay. Upon notice of the charges, I immediately followed the tragically hidden “unsubscribe” button and deleted the app from my phone. I would rather use safari to access the podcast archive of my favorite radio show than risk allowing this application anywhere near my personal data again. I will be filing a fraudulent charge with my bank as I can only imagine how poor the customer service department is at a company that actively deceives it’s listeners. Safer to stick to the myriad of other music/podcast apps.
  • Takes forever to load or do anything else for that matter

    I don't understand full bars on LTE or wifi it doesn’t matter it take this app like 5 times longer to load something. Whether it be a podcast download/stream or a steam it takes FOREVER something needs to be done. I don’t have these issues on any other streaming app ( Spotify, Sticher, apple podcast) iheart do something. A music company to have this bad of a music app is unacceptable
  • Watch out!

    Turned on the app one morning and a bunch of stuff popped up. Kept pressing the home button to get to the music. Found out later I somehow subscribed to some premium service. Didn’t know until automatic billing showed up. Very hard to unsubscribe. Very close to deleting the app entirely.

  • iPad app and/or support lacking completely

    I did plenty of trouble shooting on my own. I have no problem with my account, only I cannot log in via the iPad app. iPhone works fine, in browser works fine, even in browser on the iPad itself works fine. Here's the real problem. I submitted a support ticket and have been dealing with 'Simon'. Not only is there typically a full week between interactions with Simon, he typically only asks me to reset my password each time I hear from him (which after 10+ times clearly doesn't work). Most recently he appears to have closed my case. So my ticket was/is open for more than a month, I'd wait 1 week between interactions, I clearly indicated that the app still isn't working, and I've got nothing.

  • Slamming customers

    Horrible business practices! I have the touch to purchase turned on. I opened the app and selected a radio station, was going to change it only to find the app was attempting to purchase the upgrade on its own. I did nothing to initiate the upgrade. Had I pressed my home button I would have had a purchase I never asked for. They are targeting those that are not paying attention or may be easily confused. I thought Apple was supposed to weed those shady practices out, I guess the dollar won though. BE CAREFUL or you may have an upgrade you never wanted. I am uninstalling. This happened on 9-16-18.
