Horrible app, keeps telling me to upgrade!
  • Not Ideal on iPad

Most reviewers seem to be reviewing the service and not the app, which isn’t helpful. The app works great on an iPhone. Unfortunately it does nothing to take advantage of the increased space on an iPad. The news feed is horribly formatted, especially in landscape mode, making it almost unusable. Would be nice if some attention was paid to how to best make use of the iPad’s increased space to provide an interface more similar to the web interface instead of just taking the iPhone’s view and adding white space on the sides.

Thanks for this great professional website and application. I just suggest adding more features to the conversations like enabling sending voice and videos. I think the chat is still limited and needs to be improved more. Thanks for your continuous updates.

Not sure what’s happened but most recent app download has completely broken my app. Can’t search, can’t update the feed, can’t see contacts, messages. Everything just returns soft error messages.

I haven’t been in my account since this last weekend. I update the app and now my account is restricted. Still waiting for LinkedIn to verify my ID but, I have no clue what I did. Coincidence? Don’t know.
  • Hurts your career

LinkedIn crams so much garbage into the feed: ads, click bait, up sells, Lynda classes that will be a red flag on your resume—it all gets in the way of connecting with your business contacts. Really toxic and user-hostile. Did you know every like spams your contacts, announcing you have nothing better to do? LinkedIn’s responses here are empty appreciation/not sorry, dismiss as feedback, or divert to a link. Edit: called it! Mobile team ducked and ran

  • Another chronological nightmare

It seems that LinkedIn has joined the ranks of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter I’m not giving us posts in chronological order. The app is useless for this and on the site itself, while you can toggle to “most recent “ it still jumbles the lists up...gives you like 5 that were just posted then back to 1d, 4d, 1w, etc. I’m not seeing the people and posts I want to which means in return, people are not seeing mine either. However I’m also seeing the same “news’ post over and over for days now by a contact of mine. No one is commenting on it or liking it to bump it, it’s just permanently on my feed. (And seeing Stormy Daniels’ face every day is NOT why I use LI.) One more than thing...what is with the moving columns? Especially on safari I’ll try to just scroll down and the feed column starts to move around the page, or a column gets dragged around while I’m trying to read something. Please put the page in a fixed position, it’s ridiculous trying to navigate it right now. I use LinkedIn a lot. It’s a go to place for me. But it is very much getting to be non-user friendly and just more aggravating than helpful.
