  • Battery Drain?

I’ve been a longtime devotee of this app over others for podcasts. Sadly, it seems to be draining my battery far more than usual recently. If this continues I’ll need to choose another app unfortunately. Any fix would be welcome!
  • Can't do the basics. Horrible to use when driving / riding.

Can't keep track of where I am in a podcast and allow me to listen to episodes in order. I have to *search* for #11 when I finish #10. Miserable experience if you want to listen from the beginning of a podcast with 100s of episodes. Add to that buggy ads and freezing app make you accidentally start podcasts with no interest to you, and there's no way to get back to where you were. Not if you're driving on the freeway and like to avoid accidents.

Not sure what happened but the last few days this app has been wiping out my battery. Out it goes!

Stitcher Premium has tremendous content, but this app freezes constantly, doesn’t load podcasts, crashes, and when i start it for the first time each day i have to kill it and restart it multiple times to get it to work. incredibly irritating to use.
  • Allow me to turn off “resuming episode” voice

I have many issues with this very cumbersome app. But the most pointless and easiest to fix is the “resuming episode” voice when I resume an episode. Why is it there? Of course I’m resuming an episode. I need no voice, chimes, or other indication that I’m resuming an episode other than the fact that I hit the play button on an episode that I was in the middle of. If I’m set to auto-play in my car, then I also know what’s happening without a voice or indication. Also, there are dozens of unintuitive and/or clunky UI elements for sorting, playing, downloading, searching, clearing downloads, creating and organize playlists, etc that I don’t need to mention because others have already posted about them and I’m being held captive by the content I paid for to use this app. So, I guess I have to live with it. But again I beg you, please remove the resuming episode voice to win back a little goodwill. Thanks.
  • Updated to useless

I’ve used the app for years but after the last few updates find it too difficult to use quickly and conveniently. I’m done with it now.
  • Where are my podcasts

    1

Literally all I want are the most recent episodes of the podcasts I subscribe to. This app gives you everything but, and randomly plays podcasts that you’re not even subscribed to when one of yours finishes. I would love to use this as my primary app since I’m already paying for it, but the interface is so obtuse that I only use it for the premium podcasts I can only get on stitcher. Bad app - get it together!
  • Losing me :(

Long time user, over 8000 hours. But the UI updates that are messing with my ability to just get to the favorites I love and the overwhelming amount of ads; pre show, post show, between pauses is the WORST. These combined with the inability to add RSS feeds for my subscription shows, awful search functionality and not adding new podcasts is making me look more to my other podcast apps. Hope these issues can get resolved otherwise Laughable will be my new go-to for podcasts.
