I love this app except I don’t like the first pop up page of news feed I wish the price was a lower for the full app purchase.

My go to app in a busy practice. Fast, helpful, concise.

Love Epocrates. It’s my go to app not only at work but home with my grandchildren. I would have given it five star, but they took away the differential diagnosis option, which was very helpful in questionable cases.

Epocrates is very useful for poc consult; it’s just what you need for quick, to the point drug information and interaction. Tks for being there

I love being able to look any drug that I’m not sure of the recommended dosage, especially for pediatric or neonatal doses. Also really loved when it came out with compatibility info for IV solutions as well as admixtures.

Quick, concise, and easy to follow along when you are trying to prescribe real time and still keep up the pace of urgent care!
  • Renewed again $175–now does not work

Paid my annual fee of $175, again. My app is blank, and I cannot even access the free stuff now. Apple says they can’t help and Athena won’t respond.
  • Psychiatrist Social Work

I use this app when PT may not know the medications my consulting Psychiatrist prescribed. Additionally, to advise them to call the prescriber if they have questions or c/o side effects. Furthermore they may have not told the Psychiatrist all the medications they are taking and your app notes “possible interaction”-again I ask them to call or I sent him an email. Personally, after a rear end collision while I was at a dead stop-the Neurologist I consulted for post concussion syndrome prescribed me a meditation and I told him it interacted with another meditation I was on. He argued with me until I had him look it up and I used your app to confirm my guess. He decided not to prescribe it.

For the reviewers who’re complaining about speed of app: it’s your device, not the app. For the reviewers who’re complaining about the cost (I saw one) - I will say this: I use this app at least 20 times per day for anything from medication name check (generic vs trade) to dosages and prescribing information, to disease and treatment info. That means I get 100 consults per week x 50 weeks per year=5000 consults For $179.99 (less than 4 cents per consultation). There isn’t a better deal out there! Convenient! Fast! Get it! Use it! Move in to bigger things! Thanks Epocrates!

A lifesaver for school and intern work. I am slowly becoming a walking drug encyclopedia, but until I get there Epocrates has my back.
