  • Does account for days lost and gained

    Seems like the app didn’t take I to account when I am flying back from Tokyo the day being moved back for sleeping schedule. Plan shows flight only for 6 hours when in reality the flight is 14 hours.

    I used this on a short trip to Bali. I was very concerned about my jet lag since I wasn’t going to be there very long. This app worked amazingly well. I was better rested in Bali than I was at home. I did use the melatonin with the app and I will never travel without this app again.

    We have traveled to Europe a few times and tend to have a small amount of jet lag, once we get home though, it is pretty bad. We used timeshifter for our first trip to Indonesia and with the big time change, it was super helpful. On the way there we followed the plan about 85% and expereince no jet lag upon arrival or during the trip. We followed the plan about 40% on the way back (who really wants to go to sleep at 7pm on their last night of vacation :( ), but honestly, knowing the key parts of when to sleep on the plane or stay up, really helped and we only had a small amount of jet lagg that lasted the next day. We will definetley be using this app on our next travel adventure!

    I recently flew to Europe from Chicago. It’s hard not to be skeptical about to value of an app that suggests it can minimize the effects of jet lag. None-the-less I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. It was completely amazing. I followed the prompts as best I could, quite closely, and found that on arriving for a 10 day visit my symptoms were almost nonexistent. It was harder to stick with the schedule for the return trip because of business commitments, however, the benefit of arriving and being able to function from day one was immeasurable.

    I just traveled from Denver to Stockholm. For departure to Stockholm (+8 hours) I followed the plan almost perfectly. No jet lag! Wow!! I was the slightest bit tired the first day but, admittedly, I had a hard time sleeping the night before because I was excited to leave. For my return flight, I had to unexpectedly return 5 days early so I was only able to “sort-of” follow my re-entry plan. It helped even though I only had 36 hours notice and I was only able to partially stick to the plan!! I was up a little earlier than usual this morning but otherwise I have adjusted seamlessly. Thank you thank you! I am recommending this to everyone I know!!!

    I highly recommend the Timeshifter app. I used it for the first time for intercontinental travel. The science behind it seemed sound and I was willing to give it a try. I had a very tight schedule once abroad and did not want to miss out on any activities due to jet lag, and I wanted to feel good once I returned home and jump back into my schedule here. The instructions were very clear and I was able to follow them. I had no jet lag flying east and very minimal jet lag returning west. I ran errands and resolved that short feeling of sleepiness. A little humor is built in as well. If I awakened and peeked at my phone, from a grayed out screen I could read - go to sleep.- Somehow I found that to be quite funny. So I had a great trip, I love the app, and would recommend it without reservation to others.

    I used this app to figure out how to help my kids adjust during an overseas trip. The visualization of the schedule each day gave me a clear understanding of how to handle the changes. The plan it provided was sound and lined up with other recommendations I read. We had an easy time adjusting. The only issue I had was that you can’t set a “usual bedtime” before 10pm, but I could easily adjust the plan to our much earlier schedule.

    I am a former sleep researcher who is traveled all over the world and I have never been able to overcome jet leg. I’ve tried everything and have still ended up with disturb sleep patterns for up to two weeks after some of my longest flights. This app is effective and it’s super easy to use. Just plug-in your flights and the app does everything else. Are used to go to Israel and back and hit the ground running, felt like 1 million bucks. Just some simple instructions a few days before in a few days And you won’t believe it!

    I’ve always struggled with jet lag - even cross country. I just returned from. Trip to Boston from Oregon where I live and used the app. I followed it closely and had no jet lag in either direction. Last fall I used it to fly to Europe - Seattle to Frankfurt again following the app closely. I didn’t have any jet lag at all! I couldn’t believe it! I bought an annual plan since I’ll be going back to the east coast at least one more time this year, along with a trip to Portugal this fall! I won’t travel without it! Try it - you’ll be delighted!
