GyPSy Guide GPS driving tour for Grand Canyon National Park is an excellent way to enjoy a sightseeing trip to explore by driving yourself. There are 190+ audio points that play automatically, featuring what to see, stories, tips and advice. All the benefits of a guided tour, the freedom to drive yourself. TOUR GUIDE AS YOU DRIVE AROUND GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK SOUTH RIM If you like driving yourself when you go sightseeing, GyPSy Guide™ tour apps allow you to enjoy a guided tour experience while remaining totally independent. By driving yourself, you'll be able to get from place to place faster, see more things and not be tied to anyone else's schedule. DON'T MISS OUT ON THE BEST SIGHTS AND STORIES The tour apps use your device’s location abilities to play the commentary AUTOMATICALLY. All you have to do is drive, listen and decide which places you want to stop at. Our tour guides have created an insightful and entertaining tour for Grand Canyon National Park. We’ll recommend the best places to experience and some great locations that most visitors will drive by. PLAYS AUTOMATICALLY GyPSy Guide knows where you are and which direction you are heading, and plays commentary automatically about the things you are seeing, plus stories and tips and advice. EXPLORE LIKE A LOCAL It’s just like having a local friend to show you around. And that friend just happens to be a professional tour guide. GREAT VALUE The same information you would get on a bus tour or from a guide book, for just a fraction of the price. And you control the itinerary and schedule. WORKS OFFLINE No data, cellular or even wireless network connection needed while touring. Download over Wi-Fi before you tour. Anyone can use them with no need for roaming data – even visiting from another country. DRIVING TOUR ROUTE Start the tour from either Williams or Flagstaff, Arizona. Or if you are already in the Park, you can join anywhere along the route. If you are arriving from north, on Highway 89, you can join the tour at Cameron, Az. The tour includes the most popular sightseeing locations and much more: 1) Grand Canyon Village 2) Mather and Yaki Point 3) Desert View Drive 4) Desert View Watchtower 5) Little Colorado River 6) Routes driving towards and away from the park The tour is designed that if you are accessing the Park from Williams, Flagstaff or Cameron, you will hear stories and tips and advice about what to see and do as you drive towards the Park. The tour tells you about the best places to visit while inside the Park. As you leave, the commentary continues with lots of entertaining stories as you drive back to Williams and Flagstaff. NOTES Download the app on Wi-Fi from your network at home or use any free Wi-Fi network. Because the app is filled with audio commentary and maps, its larger than "normal" apps. It's important to download over a Wi-Fi network. ++ Continued use of GPS running in the background increases battery usage - we strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger. This is much better than simply plugging into the USB port in a vehicle. ** iPad users - please note that WiFi-only iPads will not activate the commentary automatically. Any iPhone or network-capable iPad (WiFi + Cellular - whether you have a network connection or not) will work just fine. ABOUT US GyPSy Guide™ produce award winning audio tours along scenic drives around the world. • Cheaper & better than a tour company

    By Dang765
No need to book a tour company and spend hundreds of dollars when this app does just as good of job, if not better. Take it from a guy who has done both.
  • Best app experience to date

    By Beyond Par
I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am that I downloaded this app the night before my trip. It amplified one of the greatest experiences I’ve had in Arizona from Flagstaff all the way to the Grand Canyon I’m now looking for other tours so I can download those apps as well… Michael
  • Worth every penny!

We had gotten another Gypsy Guide in Hawaii and we loved it so we decided to get another ine for our next trip to the Grand Canyon. Just like expected, it was extremely helpful on telling us everything about every possible stop! Completely recommend it!
  • Narrator Rocks!!

    By Cbach05
We have used Gypsy Guide in Yellowstone, Grand Titans, and now Grand Canyon. Our daughters love hearing and learning from the narrator and have lovingly nicknamed him “granddad”! They are sad each time he says goodbye. We will absolutely use this again on other trips and will tell others about it too. Thanks for the perfect travel guide every time!!
  • Save Yourself $600!

Awesome tour! Starts at Flagstaff and will guide you around the park at your own pace. Don’t get stuck on a tour with the “too many questions” or the “know it all” person. Use this app instead.
  • A Must for Visiting the Grand Canyon

    By ljadams610
This app was great. We weren’t sure if we should do a tour or just drive, then we found this app and decided to drive. We saved about $500 and the app was great. The whole family enjoyed it and we saw so much and at our own pace. I loved how it tracked your location and gave you directions along the way and relevant stops. It was awesome and well worth the mere $6. Highly recommend this. Fun stories too. Even our 10 and 12 year old kids enjoyed it.
  • Filled with Fun Facts

By 5 on the Road Again
We’ve used Gypsy Guide in Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. The Grand Canyon was by far the best as the narration continues past the main loops and out of the park with stories of major characters in the exploration of the west.
  • Awesome

Love the app. We used it in Maui and now the Grand Canyon !!!!! Need more tours, maybe one for Sedona?? Sell it as a Flagstaff bundle?
  • Extremely well done app with great content

    By hoverboarder
Everything about this app went well beyond our expectations. We visited the Grand Canyon from Sedona via Williams today. The audio had our group of 3 adults and 2 children captivated and looking forward to each new clip. My 4 and 7 year old were engaged throughout the drive and asked to turn it back on on the drive back. The content was polished and interesting to all ages, and the narrator was perfect. Our kids didn’t ask for their iPads the entire trip and learned a ton of cool facts! We were so delighted to see the audio content matching up with our surroundings - it almost felt like we had a tour guide with us in our car. I was skeptical, but the app worked without a hiccup throughout our entire trip. The interface is very well done, simple, friendly, and intuitive. After the trip, everyone wanted to know what other tours were available, and we look forward to trying them when we get the chance!

Our family really enjoyed this guide. It was informative, taught us so much that we would have never have known. We had visited this area before without Gypsy guide and feel we missed so much . This gps guide was right on target so you never missed a turn or an opportunity to explore. Great job!!!!
