    Old app launches in 6 seconds. New app launches in 30 seconds. New app you will need to launch, select camera, and view camera in portrait before you can go to landscape. Way too many button clicks compared to old. Looks like some didn’t do a flow chart before they started development.

    The camera shots off at night it will only stay on for five minutes most of the time sometimes it’ll stay on and definitely its way to random it moves all over by itself sometimes there’s no sound you can never rely on this camera at all I don’t like it I would never recommend it

    I am very disappointed in my purchase of two cameras and the app. I’ve had them for about two months now and the cameras are constantly “disconnected” requiring that I unplug and restart the cameras. My WiFi connection is not the issue.

    The camera is fine. The new viewing app is a little cumbersome, and a little more than necessarily complicated. We do get a glare from the window from the IR lighting. The old one was a DCS 930 it got wiped out from a lightning storm.

    For the most part setup , use is good but when unit disconnects from Wifi and you are not physically near unit you cannot reconnect unless I’m doing it wrong if so pls correct me. When company does an update or maintenance again if you are not physically there ie on a trip it won’t reconnect
  • They got rid of the rotating wheel of death in the settings, sweet diggity dog.
