    I’ve found this app and the practice it teaches to be very helpful and to resonate with me a lot more than other apps I’ve tried. It’s been good for me, a modestly experienced meditator, and I could see it would be helpful for absolute beginners as well as very experienced meditators. Highly recommended!

    Sam does an excellent job with guided meditation sessions, but additional content that helps to further the practitioners understanding of “why” mindfulness is so desirable puts it over the top.

    What a relief! This meditation course has been such a do-able thing for me! I struggle with keeping up the habit but with dr. Sam Harris’s app I now have ACCOUNTABILITY and EASY Listening. I have experienced relief from depression and anxiety PTSD AND GAD from meditating daily with this app and I hope you try it and like it as much as I do!
  • Sorely Lacking Guided Meditations over 10 Minutes, Grandfathered users have to pay twice

    1. this app lacks a lot of the robustness other popular apps have like having a 15,20, 20+ guided meditations. they say oh just use the timer, i can use my stopwatch for that, i’m looking for something guided which can’t be that hard to chop up his voice into longer segments. it also lacks alerts to mediate and other features 2. more importantly, we were promised lower pricing for early users but now have to pay ANOTHER $60 dollars to be a subscriber for $120 a year! no other app is close to this and the amount of hoops we have to go through to get a refund on the second $60 we pod is insane i doubt i’ll ever see it again I love everything sam does but am so disappointed as a fan

    This app has helped my greatly in the past three days. My work has invaded my mind at home. The anxiety, stress, and never ending thoughts of hypothetical conversations and dwelling on criticisms plagued me day and night. I couldn’t concentrate. Sleep was out of the question. I’d be distracted by my thoughts. Just three days of this podcast has lifted a burden. I can pay attention to my wife again. I read and understand my online newspapers once more instead of dwelling on fear of my job. It’s just a job but it has been haunting me. This feels like the start of a new normal. Like a cancer patient with chronic pain feeling alleviated. Even if it’s transient, the hours of relief are momentous. Thank you, Sam.

    I’ve been trying meditation off and on for years without success. While I haven’t gotten too far in the app yet, I no longer dread sitting down to meditate and am finally starting to feel progress. Furthermore, the lessons are amazing - some are fairly specific to the practice of meditation, while others provide powerful lessons and tips that one can apply to day-to-day life outside of a meditation practice. I am a happy premium subscriber and just hope that Dr. Harris continues to produce more content.
