  • Loved the old version.

Used Paprika for many years and loved it. Downloaded Paprika 3 so that I could have it on my phone but am unable to sync. I have contacted tech support several times to no avail.
  • Good app but needs tweaking

    By DeathStorm1973
I’ve been using Paprika for six months and it’s been great for most everything. I love the ability to download recipes from websites directly through the app. Aside from that there are some tweaks that would make it better. For one, you can’t see the ingredient list and recipe directions on the same screen. So when you get a direction that says “add xxx” you have to go back to the ingredient list to see how much xxx you’re adding. The other downfall is you can’t choose how the app opens. I use it more often for my grocery list but the app always opens on your recipes. It would be nice if you could choose what you see when you open it. Other than that it’s been great. You can create custom grocery isles for your store and teach the app what ingredients are in each isle so it remembers them for next time. It can be a little time consuming but overall it’s the best recipe/grocery app I’ve used.
  • I don’t write reviews

    By Cathiek2
I’ve never before written a review for an app but felt I had to in this case. I love Paprika! Worth every penny!!! In the past I’ve tried OneNote, Evernote, AnyList etc. to congregate, make notations on and use for recipes. All have been cumbersome...except Paprika. Saving recipes to Paprika is a breeze. I can categorize them however I want, favorite them, rate them. I can scale recipes when I’m not looking for 6 servings of a particular meal. And I tweak the recipes and make other notes for later reference too. Lately I’ve been using the meal planning & shopping cart functionality and I’ve had to visit the grocery store less often (win!). My only complaint on this front is that I’d like to drag recipes to different days of the week and it doesn’t allow for that. A minor irritation, not a deal breaker. Love, love, love Paprika!
  • Nearly Perfect

I am trying to decide between Paprika or AnyList for my recipe manager and wish I could combine both to create the perfect manager. Here are the the items AnyList has which would put Paprika on top: 1. Ability to import a recipes into Paprika directly from the recipe app. Not sure why I have to go through Paprika’s browser to import a recipe. 2. Create a similar ingredient formatting similar to AnyList which makes the ingredient in one format, quantity in another format and lastly shows adjective (mashed, melted, softened) in another 3. Better separate preparation steps. AnyList automatically creates Step headlines which I like; maybe add radio buttons to bullet steps and allow me to check steps I have completed 4. Add underline as a formatting option 5. Add feature which automatically calculates nutrition. 6. Add ability to link ingredients to steps. That way when I highlight a step it also highlights the ingredients and quantity that are a part of the step to help quickly identify which ingredients I need next
  • Fantastic but...

Needs to take advantage of the iPhone X and XS screen. Other than that it does a great job of managing recipes.
  • Just before “paid upgrade” thing stop working...

I have been a subscriber for over 5 years. Tell everyone this is my favorite app. But in the last two weeks the app has stopped extracting ingredients. It makes the app almost useless. What’s up?
  • Feature request

    By Gran Donna
Love, love, love this app! So easy for my daughter and I to share recipes. I’m currently entering all my old recipes. I wish the “Info” tab had a line for oven temperature. Maybe that can be a future addition. Thanks for this app! I love being able to have my recipes with me wherever I am. And it’s so easy to share. One puzzle I have: even after updating my email, my old email is still the default on the send feature. I’ve missed a few replies that way. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
  • Apple Watch support needed

    By munpip214
I have had this app for several years now and it still hasn’t added Apple Watch support. The two things I would like to have are my grocery lists and ability to ask Siri to add things to the grocery list (like with iPhone).
  • SO worth the cost

    By AlskiR4
I love this app. I have not found another that has everything I need in it like this one. I love the browser and how accurate and quickly I can save recipes in the app. I love the pinning function, the grocery lists (you can have multiple), the meal planning, the ease of creating your own categories so it fits your style... I could go on and on. I have everything in this app and use it multiple times a day.
  • PERFECT Recipe App

    By LoydC91362
I’ve been using this app for years, to store all my recipes, and to access them from anywhere, on all my devices. It’s rock-solid and has never crashed or failed on any of my many devices over the years. The interface is beautiful, functional and very readable. It’s on my iPad, iPhone and Mac, and always syncs between them effortlessly. I can look up any recipe while at the store, or add ingredients to the built-in shopping list from any of my devices and use it on my phone while shopping. It also allows you to export the grocery list to the iOS Reminders app, so your grocery list can also appear on your Apple Watch, with your other reminders lists. It’s so easy to add recipes from online, edit, rate, and categorize them. You can input your own or add them in just a few clicks from almost any website from the built-in browser. If you find a recipe online, you copy the URL and paste it into the built-in browser, and then the app will extract, format and save almost any recipe. It’s very easy to send recipes to friends, also. If they don’t use Paprika, you can send it in a nicely-formatted email. I can’t think of a thing the developers have left out, and would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for designing exactly the app I always wished for. I know this review is over-the-top positive, but I can’t think of a thing to complain about - it’s really that good. I can’t imagine anyone giving this app less than 5 stars. This was a game-changer for me.
