  • I’m not looking for a subscription

I literally just need a planner. Not a subscription for meals
  • Good app but...

    By blahblah2538&5
It’s a good app and they’ve improved it a lot over the last year. If you follow the plan you will lose weight. However, if you follow a plant based diet, you will probably get bored with the recipes after 6 months. A lot more plant based recipes need to be made or the meat based recipes need to have plant based versions made. It’s frustrating because there are at least twice as many meat and dairy recipes as plant based recipes.
  • Good App, just a few improvements would make it amazing.

Pros: #1. Lots of great meals to pick from. #2. Calculates for both me and my wife. #3. Clean easy interface. Cons: #1. Wish I could sync my iPad and iPhone together so grocery shopping would be easier. #2. It needs a more robust food filtering/category system that allows you to stack the filters. Besides that, I’m very impressed with the app and plan on getting the yearly subscription. I was already a recent user of their other app but this saves me enough time to justify the extra cost. I save that multiple times over in a month just because I don’t have the calorie budget for a coffee :)

I applied for the free trial. Of course I forgot to cancel it. I said to myself, well it’s alright I’ll cancel it next month it’s only 5.99 a month. Not a big deal. (I’ll spend $6 on something unhealthy any day) so I went to go cancel it before I got charged again only to find out they chose the year subscription and charged me $48!!! I am furious. For one the meals are alright but they never have the right measurements. This app is a total scam and I’m really disappointed and how they got me! If I chose a free trial and of course some people always forget to cancel and I’m thinking well it’s only 5 a month I can’t be mad when I forget to cancel..but when I go to cancel and I see they charged me $48 !! I am beyond upset. This is ridiculous! 😡

I love FitMenCook recipes and have been using them for a few years because they are high protein and taste great. I love how streamlined this app makes meal prepping food that helps me hit my macros and reach my fitness goals!
  • Not a Keto diet app

    By LadyDi RN
This app description includes Keto meal prep & recipes. Don’t be fooled not a Keto meal plan. Very disappointed. Don’t waste your money.
  • My grocery week ruined!

    By The #1 Facebook fan
I set the meal planner to a full week on the day I got paid to buy all my groceries at one time and to cook them all in one day. I bought $150 worth of groceries by going by the grocery list the app gave me. Only to get home to cook the first meal and not have enough ingredients to even do the first meal! Not even close! The grocery list called for 5.7 ounces of black beans. The meal prep ingredients called for 3.4 pounds!! That’s not even all! I’m stressed and I have no idea what I wasted all my money on. Thanks a lot.
  • Vegan meal prep

    By jaejaebballl
I’m vegan and a good meal prep app for that was hard to find until I found meal prep pro. This is the best app I’ve ever used for recipes and meal prep. It’s the most simple and easy to use app. I recommend this to all people I know that want to eat better and prepare their meals ahead. It’s the best app ever and I will never stop using it.
  • Recipes don’t calculate well, which negates the purpose of a meal planner

    By ayummykay
In this app you can choose meals and how many days worth you want to prep them for. Unfortunately the ingredients don’t calculate well when increasing the number of days worth. I made the breakfast casserole and it wanted me to put FIVE bell peppers because I wanted to make enough for five days. That’s obviously too many, as were many of the ingredients listed. And of course the amount of hands-on time they claim it takes to make things is completely inaccurate. Also, the recipes don’t appear increase the cooking time it would take to make larger batches of food, so that is also wrong
