  • An ok idea

This idea does sound smart at first glance, but you’re using a mobile device to enhance another mobile device. Why can’t you just use a Bluetooth headset to communicate instead of using a smartphone. Also, the day nintendo online drops is the day I lose some respect for nintendo.
  • Extra features?

While I don’t use the app for in game chatting (so I can’t give an opinion on that), I do use it to order splatoon clothes, which I find very fun and helpful to do, as well as see the stages before going into the game itself. However, I would love to see more on the app for other games/functions. Especially if the screenshots you take on switch would be accessible to view through the app, I would really love that. Maybe similar “check up” aspects for other games too? Such as, say, an ARMS score chart or MK8 personal records. Something like that hah

I look forward to when more games will be added to it. I think its an innovative way to do voice chat.

Can you please add more games for the app like mario kart 8 puyo puyo Tetris so we can do the chat thing, 2 please don’t launch paid services like Xbox and PlayStation did your free service let’s people that can’t pay for Xbox live and PlayStation network if you do then People will not be able to play splatoon 2 because In the future if you don’t have the campaign like fortnite you can play online but say if you did not have subscription to Xbox you can’t play fortnite without Xbox live so please do not launch paid services, the last thing I ask when will you release fortnite on Nintendo Switch
  • Bad Idea

The app said “This service cannot be used with your Nintendo Account.” It’s hard to communicate with friends in games when there’s no game chat. This might be my all time favorite game console, but game chat would make it a lot better. I would rather buy an Xbox than pay a monthly fee just for game chat. I hope that game chat will be added to the Nintendo Switch in the near future.
  • Make Voice Chat System Level

SplatNet 2 Executed phenomenally Stylized and helpful Online Lounge Heck no. Nintendo, with a new paid service, I expect my money to be used for supporting online infrastructure. Your P2P system(no dedicated servers, switches connect to each other) makes disconnects more common, is slower, and is unreliable. It also costs you next to nothing. What am I paying for then for this online subscription when you only handle matchmaking? Don't offload voice chat to this app and get servers please. Companion apps are fine but you should have the switch have its own voice chat.

Whhhhhhhyyyyy did they come up with this stupid smartphone app idea? The only thing wrong with Nintendo Online right now is the way we have to communicate. Voice chat and messages need to be incorporated on the Switch itself. Not through an smartphone app. Please fix this Nintendo. Don’t mess up this amazing console.
  • Featureless App that shouldn't exist to begin with

This app functions worse than the built in chat on Xbox and PlayStation while also requiring a dongle to get game audio. It’s baffling that this is the solution ninte so came up with.
