  • Great idea, but needs some work.

I am a huge fan of the aesthetic of this app. I have some improvements I would like to see before this app becomes worth the $2.99 price tag. The ability to add brew method/dose/water temp/water weight would be appreciated, as taste can differ dramatically between brew methods and ratios. The option to delete previous logs. (Perhaps there is a way. I could not find it.) To add estate/co-op/farm would be appreciated. Saving photos is not needed, and that screen gets in the way. Saving to just the app is fine. The ability to see if a taste option has multiple sub-options would be nice, as clicking on the note takes you to a new screen if there are no sub-notes, which is annoying. Great potential, and easy to use! I am excited to see what the creators improve upon.
  • such great potential!

I really wanted to be able to use this at work, but I definitely find it to be lacking in a few ways that make it not really worth it to use on the daily, yet. I seriously recommend expanding the flavor notes available; I find that many I use on the regular aren't there. (plum, pine, malt, salty, rosehip, cumquat—just to name a few). expanding the fruits and florals is definitely a must, but I also find descriptors like "pine," "redwood," or even "firewood" to sound better than "smokey;" so you might think about expanding there as well. also more herb notes, not just "herb-like!" also adding things like acidity level, mouth feel, and finish would be super awesome; although, I realize this is about tasting notes. ALSO as some others have mentioned, being able to list more origins for blends and adding info like farmers and distributors would be cool as well. and seriously—being able to go back and edit before saving is such a must, especially with how easy it is to misclick to a point of no return. accessibility is like, too important. this app has sooo much potential and I'm excited to see where it goes! and I'm hoping that I won't have to put any more money into it to be able to see where that is. 🤔
  • Simply disappointing...

I am sincerely hoping this app is updated with expanded tasting profiles/notes to cover the entire flavor wheel. Right now it is so limited that it is pointless for anything other than keeping track of which coffees you have tasted. Also having to go back and add another note and another and another is tedious and needs a re-design. Right now I feel like I wasted my money, but I hope that changes with updates because there's potential for this to be one of the best coffee apps out there.
  • Cool but limited

Would love to see an expanded library of taste notes. A custom option would be excellent for specificity of origin, to include things like farmer / co-op names, etc. A misc notes section might be nice for those of us who want to add even more detail. Saving as a photo makes the app useless to me. If I can't organize my notes within the app, I don't really see the point. Who wants to scroll through photos to find their notes? So far, I understand why you're asking for help getting the app off the ground and I'm happy to pay to try something new, but I would definitely not pay $3 for this app without the above upgrades. I could just as easily consult free flavor wheel printouts and take my own notes in my notes app. Love what y'all are doing. Can't wait to see where this goes!
  • Great informational app

This app is a great way to learn more about coffee without getting scoffed at by your local hipster barista. Interface is ascetically nice and easy to use too.
  • Improved Functionality required

So I love coffee and wanted this app to add to my library of coffee education. I found the not the easiest to use. There was no easy way to go back and forth if you wanted to edit your taste profile of a coffee. Would also like to see expanded options in the "origin" section especially for blends. Might need to add some types of fruit to the fruit section (i.e. Apricot). Look forward to a free upgrade considering I bought the first version.
