It took many tries to get the app to finally work. It only works on one device and apparently the app was looking at my iPad and not the phone I loaded it on. After reading several reviews and figuring out the problem I have successfully uninstalled and reinstalled. Today is day one. I will update in one month.

I love the idea of this app. After using it a couple months now, I can see it has the potential to create some great habits. It seems so positive and helpful. On the downside, the approach can feel overly complicated. For example, journeys versus challenges and the concept of the “sphere.” Although, I’m looking forward to trying the app for a few more months to see how things go. There are a few things I’d have the app do differently. For the first habit, drinking water, is something I already do, so I wish there was an option to choose a different first habit. Same with eating a healthy breakfast — I already do that.
  • Not worth the money

I accidentally bought the premium membership and couldn’t get a refund through  so I figured I would try to take advantage of the full functioning app and it was not worth the money. It’s reminders are silly, it chose goals for me that weren’t necessary and over all just a silly app that I didn’t find useful.
  • Only 1 week free trial, but 2 weeks to build habits

I’m just saying that I’m intrigued so far, but if the people behind Fabulous truly had faith in their own stuff, then the Free Trial would last two weeks. So far, I’ve seen a lot of nice UX design and somewhat repetitive content, but it was enough to convince me to give it a try. I signed up for the Free Trial, and I’m like 70% ish sure that I’ll end up keeping the full version. Still, it’s hella ironic that the magic number they tout is two weeks: if it only takes 2 weeks to begin establishing good habits, then you should give me the option to commit for a 2 week Free Trial, so I can judge for myself! I’m just saying: I’d be willing to pay $1/week AFTER you demonstrated faith in your own system. This is slightly more than the current fee ($52>$50 per year) and a more fitting number, and idk I just hate this 1 week Free Trial gimmick: it always feels too much like opportunistic developers counting on people forgetting to cancel on time, and less like a deliberate attempt to give away samples to potential customers. Anyway, I’ll update my review in a week to let you know what I decide ! I really hope y’all take my suggestion into consideration either way. UPDATE: knocking another because I just read a message called my “Your Sphere” where Rule 1 is they want me to not discuss the duration of the trial or the cost of the app because they can’t “trust” me if I do any of that lol are you serious.

With a toddler, full-time job and 2 smaller side job/hobbies I never had time for with managing my household, I would say I was already very organized but Fabulous took me to the next level. Been using it a month and here’s what I like. Fabulous removes the mental load, that feeling that I’m busy focusing on the urgent thus always forgetting to do things that are theoretically important to me or my health. Having created Fabulous routines for Morning, Workday, Afternoon, and Evening, I accounted for every activity ideal to my day (even things like teethbrushing, eating more fruit, learning, plus goals that I would otherwise see no progress on). Scheduling even a meager amount of time for important activities daily gives me confidence it will add up over time and helps me get started, which is often the hardest part. (I’ve resisted packing my routine so full that I can’t continue on with something if I get engrossed). I also added some of the suggested minute tasks like deep breathing, a minute stretch, asking what is my purpose?, identify top 3 tasks, what inspires me, and more... these have turned out to be powerful refocusers that help me turn the corner to the next task instead of retreating to social media for a break (the black hole time sink lol). For days I continuously adjusted the order of my tasks, which routine they belonged on, duration, and how much structure was helpful vs. overwhelming, trying to feel out what puts me in a nice flow. I don’t have to do it in exact order, you get the idea. The important part is Fabulous shows you how long each routine takes overall (helpful for knowing if you overcommitted your time), so I had to admit to myself what I really had time for and settle for the realistic, knowing I would still be making progress. If something’s not working I keep making changes, which involves also changing my expectations (another powerful and unexpected side effect). Now I have confidence my routine is feasible and I even have time to sneak in social media/YouTube/text/calls without letting those overrun my day. When work gets crazy and I miss completing items on overwhelming days (or days I’m not on my A game), it doesn’t matter because Fabulous routines still make me more productive at work and life than I otherwise would be (and stay calmer and less overwhelmed), so it’s a win! Even after discouraging days I know my Fabulous routines are always ready to support my optimal day tomorrow, rather than having to waste time brainstorming it AGAIN and get motivated AGAIN to somehow keep it all in mind. Every day, I get to start over and probably do a little better, which is what I’m experiencing with Fabulous. Developing an optimal personalized routine is key! But, Fabulous helps you build a routine slowly from the ground up and tells you the reasons behind each suggested item. The app also gives you guided meditation and exercise sessions, motivational material and more. Really perfect for anyone wanting to see what they’re capable of if they let Fabulous assume the mental load for them. Worth every cent. I really haven’t found a downside, however, in reading the reviews I might be using it a little differently than others. I’d advise adding a few of your own daily tasks right away if you’re ready for that. The app has you start with drinking a glass of water when you wake up, and add other similar things slowly. As someone who was ready and needing to tackle my unique day, that would have been painfully slow for me. But it’s definitely an app that will not overwhelm you and is great for creating a foundation. I have 2 feature suggestions I would love to see: 1) A soft chime when a task countdown timer is over. Because for tasks like reading, meditation, deep focus and more, it’s not enjoyable when I have to keep watching the clock and can’t lose myself in those tasks. Kind of defeats the purpose. 2) As I check off tasks in my routine, I would LOVE to see the routine “duration” total decrease to represent how much time the remaining tasks will take. That would be empowering, and also extremely helpful. If for example I have 2 more hours to complete my morning routine before leaving for work, I’d like to be able to continuously see what my remaining total task duration is so I know if I’m over or under and know how to pace myself without having to add it up over and over. Lastly, the genuine passion of the developer for this subject is apparent (she writes letters to us). We’re in capable hands. Here’s to enjoying the journey. You got this!

Do not give them anything. I subscribed to fabulous premium for a month, they took my money and did not give me premium.
