After playing 10 stages and winning 20 stars that don’t come easy at all... and to see when you unlock the box it’s only 10 coins you be getting very weird when you get 20 or 25 coins come on... I feel like give it sometimes and it’s my little fun game. Smh

  • BEWARE!!

I used to love this app. But now they’re using deceptive practices to collect more money. I have bought numerous bundles on this app. But now they’re charging you 1-3 weeks after the fact, for purchases that DID NOT go through. Here’s how it works. You want to buy a $12.99 bundle because it is such an entertaining app. But the screen tells you that your purchase did not go through and that NO money was taken out of your account. So, you try again, because you know there shouldn’t be a problem why this didn’t go through. Now, mind you, I only want the ONE bundle purchase! Since it tells me it DID NOT go through correctly, I press the purchase button again until it goes through. (NONE of the bundle is added to my app when this happens.) Lo and behold, 1-3 weeks later they take these purchases that did NOT go through, and they present them to iTunes and charge you for them!! So, even though you only wanted the ONE bundle, you now end up paying for 3 bundles. And only sometimes do they end up actually adding that package to your app. This is a SLICK RICK sales tactic. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM.
  • No option to Re-try a level.

The game was fun and I really enjoyed it, until I made two stars on a level and could not return to the level to try again for three stars. It disappointing that the game would lack such a feature, seeing as it is fun. This simply ruins my gameplay experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

I have never seen a level that easy! Or a level like the video!
  • Fun at first

Toon Bast is a lot of fun at first with rewards for finishing every 10th level and gaining every 20th star, but the more advanced one progresses in the game, the more it feels like the house always wins. Coin rewards initially start out big, but gradually get smaller and smaller. If you only need a few more moves to clear a level, but the awarded number of moves runs out, you can buy 5 more for 100 coins. No problem early on, but as those rewards start to dwindle, you’ll need to fork over some real cash for some in-game coinage. Considering the game controls how “lucky” you are to collect similarly colored blocks (the method to clear a level), it appears the designers have built in unfavorable odds that cater to the impatient player who is willing to spend actual money for some in-app coins and power ups. Power ups are another commodity that are randomly awarded and, in some cases, needed to finish a level, but again, if you want specific power ups, you can’t buy them with your fake coins, you’ll need to make an in-app purchase. Bottom line: fun to play, but either be patient or have money to burn.
