  • Good app, bad issues

    The app itself is well made and the content is good resolution and the lighting is well set. My main issue is the ads. Yes I know that free apps like this one need ads to function but there are problems with how they are displayed. There are about 6 ads per episode and some glitches happen. Sometimes when I close the app the re-open it to continue watching, it plays an extra 2 ads. Also sometimes the ad is playing while the actual video is playing in the background. There are too many ads per video. I recommend the app but watch out. New issue 2018, November. The app even after the updates will play ads during times when ads are not supposed to play and the total time spent watching forced ads is about 6minutes because the Amazon ads last that long and repeat immediately after the ad finishes.

    There’s an episode of an anime that I’ve been trying to watch all day, but at the very beginning an ad decides to play and then it just stops working. The main reason I don’t suggest VRV to people is because the ads always: 1. Break the video, 2. Make the app crash, 3. Plays overtop the video so all you can hear is the audio, and 4. Where after you watch all three ads, the screen is just black but you can still hear the audio. Please I just wanna finish my show ;-;

    I love this app I really do but for some reason all the shows on my list are being removed with no warning. I was literally in the middle of watching the devil is a part-timer when I couldn’t even find it the next day. I don’t know maybe it’s just me about it’s really annoying when you’re watching a show that just disappears all of sudden with no warning.
  • TV app support please

    By UltraLucha
    It’s almost perfect it just needs TV app support just like the Crunchyroll app has. I am NOT asking for “Apple TV/TVOS” support. Support the TV app from Apple, the preinstalled TV/Movies app that’s available for iPhone, iPad, AND Apple TV.
  • The app itself is fine but...

    For every one adbreak you'll get the same exact address repeated 3-6 times. It was really annoying.
  • Pros and cons

    A large variety of shows and great quality. I don’t mind the ads throughout the episodes, but it is extremely frustrating to watch the same ad over and over again. Switch it up sometimes!
  • Useless

    This app has some of the worst UX among other video apps. Also, latest update seem to have removed the only feature that was actually usable: chromecast. The app is now absolutely useless without chromecast.
  • Good but glitchy

    By R3AP3RCJ
    I just got the app and the first thing I noticed was how glitchy the ad system is. They either don’t want to play or they ended up copying over each other to the point that the ad keeps playing while your show is continuing in the background. Then after the ad goes away and you can finally watch your show, the buttons are no longer available. It’s the same ads over and over again, it gets so repetitive and annoying that I usually take my earbuds out and do something else while they are playing. Fix the ads and this app would be awesome. Till then 3 stars just for HarmonQuest.
  • Ads

    The ads never stop, it plays one ad at least 6 times or even more!!! It never stops and sometimes they over lap each other and all the times the ads dont start when they need to so when a ad plays when a ad mark is close and its done i get more ads after it passes the add mark so i get 10 of the same ads!!! Its very annoying please fix it.

    It used to be /decent/ but now it's unbearable with the constant crashing and excessive ads that often disable the subtitles after watching. Moved on to Hulu and the like.
