The Low and High Frequency folders shows articles from feeds that only post rarely or particularly often. The Must Read folder is a specially highlighted folder, where you can put the most important feeds. The Today folder only shows articles published today The Long and Short Articles folders filter articles by length. - Article View Modes - Fiery Feeds can automatically extract the full article text or display the website instead of the truncated article text. The selected mode is remembered by feed and the full text can even be downloaded for offline viewing. - Sync - Fiery Feeds syncs with Feedly, Feedbin, Feed Wrangler, Fever, NewsBlur, Tiny Tiny RSS, Inoreader, Bazqux, FreshRSS and The Old Reader. You can navigate the entire app using only the keyboard if you want to. - VoiceOver - Every feature is accessible via VoiceOver. - Customisable - Almost every aspect of Fiery Feeds is customisable. Color Themes, Fonts, Text sizes. If you want a leisurely reading environment, just the headlines, or anything in between, Fiery Feeds has you covered. - Horizontal article swiping - You can swipe to the next or previous article by swiping horizontally, instead of vertically. This avoids having to scroll down the entire (long) article just to get to the next one. - Marking All Read - Fiery Feeds can mark all articles read by the time the article was published. It’s possible to mark all articles as read, or all articles that are older then a day, week or month. Additionally it’s possible to mark all articles above or below a specific article as read by swiping right on an article to show more options. It is also possible to mark articles as read automatically when scrolling by then in the article list. - Fiery Feeds Premium - A subscription to Fiery Feeds Premium is to use feed management, text extraction, custom URL actions and email templates, Smart Views, custom themes and to select an alternative app icon. • Only missing one thing

    By PianoGirl1970
I would love to see Apple Watch support on this app—that would make it complete for me. I’m a freelancer, and I sync Fiery Feeds to Feedly so I can get notified of job postings in real time. Fiery Feed notifies my phone, but not my watch, which puts me at risk of missing out on a bid. Thanks so much for your good work!
  • Reeder may be dethroned

    By ChristopherMN12
What a refreshing breath of air. After years of dealing with the non-responsive Reeder developer, I find this app’s developer amazing. He replied to my support email within hours. The app is receiving regular updates, and the small subscription price helps provide a sustainable product. The app may be a worthy replacement of Reeder, at least based on a day of heavy use. It's fast, stable, and does a few things better than Reeder ever did. Competition in this space is a great thing, and I'm happy to see active development.
  • Dethroned Reeder for BEST RSS reader for iOS

    By i<3miabear
I have been monitoring this app looking for a replacement for the aging Reeder 3 app for some time. For those who don’t know Reeder’s author doesn’t care about user input and has promised Reeder 4 in 2018; with fiery feeds, it’s quite the opposite. Lucas is hands-down the most responsive developer I have ever seen. Every single bug report, feature request, things I don’t like about the app have been thoroughly vetted through him and I would say roughly 80% of it has been addressed. The guy response literally within 8 to 12 hours every single time. The bugs I had reported have already been fixed and a great majority of the features implemented. A few minor things I asked for he honestly said that wouldn’t be implemented but they were very few. This impressed me to the point to Subscribe to the app. I never in 1 million years thought I would be paying $10 a year for an RSS reader, but for an app that’s so important and so integrate into my life it’s worth it for me. EDIT: yet another feature has been implemented by this awesome dev so exiting it out. Wow!! If you want the best, this is it. The free version works great and includes every feature I wanted except the full text extraction. Please support this guy. SUBSCRIBE! Pay the man. This is currently the best RSS reader on iPhone/iPAd. I am interested to see what Reeder 4 is like but I really doubt it’s going to compete with fiery feeds at this point. Bravo Lucas, bravo. Thank you for being the best. *claps slowly*
  • Best RSS Reader on iPhone

    By Oh Noes...
Fiery is by far the best RSS Reader on iOS. It’s definitely for power users though I’m sure regular users might enjoy it too. Things I love the most: - Ability to sort by feed, then oldest/newest. Few readers offer that. - Ability to read a feed in “web” view entirely. Useful for “links only” feeds, like Hacker News for example. - When in web mode, it preloads the next article so that swiping to next feels instant: the next article is almost always already rendered. This is invaluable and makes reading a lot of items a delightful experience. This app has won me over and returned pleasure to my reading experience. I now prefer reading on my iPad. I used to read exclusively on my Mac before. Awesome app.
  • Don’t look anywhere else for a feed reader

    By Dejjem
This app has it all... syncing with third party services - I use Inoreader, it has Hot links - my main usage of the app... used to use fever in the old days this is fever on turbo boost. Aggregates similar content across all feeds... yay. The interface is a pleasure to use and customize and deserves the programmer an Apple ux design award honestly. I can go on and on but u get the gist. Just get the app it’s worth the subscription!
  • Everything is customizable!

    By m.t.majeski
The great thing about Fiery Feeds is the customizations - every other RSS app I’ve tried, including the stock Feedly app, always have one or two UI quirks that frustrate me. With Fiery Feeds I can customize nearly every aspect to work exactly how I want.
  • Best RSS reader for iOS period

    By Leo of BORG
As others have said, REALLY responsive developer, VERY configurable UI, x-callback-url, the list goes on. One of the VERY FEW remaining gems in the AppStore that is in constant use on my iPhone and iPad.
  • Best RSS reader on the planet

    By scotty321
Very few apps on the planet are as thoughtfully created and maintained as this one is. This is our #1 favorite app. We spend dozens of hours per week using it, and it is a complete joy to use. The developer is also extremely responsive and is constantly improving this app.
  • Best (until launch of Reeder 4?)

    By stormgen
Best RSS reader (until launch of Reeder 4?)! Tons of customisation for nerds. One shortfall is incapability of handling articles in Istapaper properly. Error in title, author and date.
  • Awesome - and about to get even better!

    By Ken.E.
I use, or have used, just about every RSS feed reader out there. I’ll skip all the details and just say that this is the best of the bunch. Not only that, but the developer is amazingly responsive. About the only downside to Fiery is that it needs a “feeder reader” (by which I mean a second Feed Reader such as Feedly, TheOldReader, or Bazqux) to handle some of the heavy upfront functionality when subscribing to a feed. That is about to change in 2.2, when Lukas adds this new functionality to Fiery, making it a totally self-sufficient system. Fiery is a five star app even without that since you can always use one of the free “feeders” for now. I’d add a few more stars to make it eight stars when 2.2 is released! Fiery is a classy product from a classy person. Thanks a million, Lukas!
