Protects your security and privacy when you use public Wi-Fi hotspots, so hackers can’t eavesdrop. Secure Wi-Fi automatically encrypts your data when you connect to an unsecured Wi-Fi network. As soon as an unsecured Wi-Fi network is detected, Secure Wi-Fi enables a VPN connection to make sure no one can steal your passwords, hijack your login, or monitor your activity. Once the phone disconnects from the unsecured Wi-Fi network, the VPN connection automatically turns off. Secure Wi-Fi is available as a one-time day pass or a renewing monthly subscription. The day pass is available at $0.99 and provides protection on any public Wi-Fi you use for 24 hours. The monthly subscription is available at $1.99 per month and provides protection for any public Wi-Fi you use for the entire month. The monthly subscription renews automatically each month, where the payment will be charged to your iTunes Account within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase. All cancellations will take effect at the end of the current period. Please note that if you check the data or battery usage on your phone, it may appear as though Secure Wi-Fi is using a lot of data and battery. However, that is not what is really going on. The reporting information for data/battery usage has simply been shifted from the actual apps using it and is being shown as used by Secure Wi-Fi. • Does not work on iPad Pro 11

    By Gearslam
This VPN will not connect on iPad Pro 11 running ios 12.3.1. Android version works great. Update... If you turn off Sprint Secure Wi-Fi then use OpenVPN, Re-enabeling Sprint Secure Wi-Fi will result in no connection until you reboot ipad.

  • Not impressed

Another poor performance App designed by Sprint. It’s sad to say but I would recommend that people avoid until designer does some fine-tuning.
  • App works well most of the time.

I really love this application. It really helps me to feel safe when I do banking or other Internet browsing while I am at a coffee house or somewhere where the Wi-Fi is on secured. The one issue I have with it it was occasionally it disconnects and re-connects and disconnect and reconnects multiple times when I’ve never disconnected from the Wi-Fi. Additionally on some networks, like the WiFi at my gym or Starbucks, it won’t take me to their login screen despite the app prompting me to login with them. Instead what the app does is attempt to take me to apple’s homepage so I never login to the network meaning that I don’t get to use the WiFi.
  • Up and Down

When u use app limits things on your phone. Backing up, software updates etc. will say it’s securing your Wi-Fi then Wi-Fi logo will disappear and say LTE. So I will go to FB messenger which is Wi-Fi only and won’t come up...this app loses Wi-Fi connection constantly.
  • Takes too long to launch

    By SistaAct06
I use this app when I go to work because I use the company’s unsecured network. For about a month, I’m able to login to the company’s network, but the app shows that I don’t have a subscription. I am billed for my subscription fee monthly. It takes about an hour for the app to secure my connection. Now I’m getting more spam because I’m unsecured for about an hour. Why does the app show that I need to subscribe when I pay monthly?

Definitely enjoying this application works wonders
  • Nice app

Awesome low cost WiFi protection app. Did some speed test with this app turned on, and really like the results. Ping rate stayed low, and download speed test was very close to none-secured test. The only down side is upload speeds do take a big hit on all test between secured and none-secured speed test. Over all 100% worth $1.99 month, app does exactly what it states it will do.
  • Works for me

An automatic way to provide protection as I use Wi-Fi all the time. Simple and easy.
