  • It just doesn’t work

    By NorthTrentUser65
It’s nothing personal, but the Nomorobo technology has been thwarted by the junk callers and doesn’t work. The callers are using temporary phone numbers that are somewhat randomised and Nomorobo can’t block the calls (otherwise they would have to block legitimate calls as well). It’s not worth $20. As soon as I laid for my subscription, I got a call from a spam caller. It was at that point I realised I had just wasted $20.
  • 1 Week In, and...

    By ashenol
So, I’m one week into my free trial with Nomorobo; and frankly, I’m not all that impressed. Let’s be honest, in the last week Nomorobo has worked- managing to block 4 incoming phone calls. Unfortunately, in that same timeframe I have received a whopping 20 phone calls from robo-collers. During this time I logged into the app, in order to make sure that the block lists were updated. I also took the time to register fake phone calls (I have a real problem with this- if I’m telling your company which numbers to block, then I should be the one getting paid). Look, no one I know receives anywhere near as many robo calls as I do on daily basis. To put this in perspective, 20 phony incoming calls is a good week for me. So when I sought out a trial for this app, I had high expectations. But Nomorobo simply isn’t delivering on its promise. I’m going to give it another week, but based on this initial performance, it is unlikely that I will commit to a subscription- Nomorobo simply isn’t worth it right now.
  • No more neighbor spoofs!

    By RightWingBlackJewishLesbian
I would get so many neighbor spoof calls, usually 5 ore more a day. It was so annoying, I’d leave my phone in silent all day to avoid them. Then I’d miss my actual phone calls. I’m his app eliminated ALL of my sales calls, havent had a single one in 2 weeks. I can actually keep my phone on now get my actual calls.
  • How do I stop Roby all app?

    By elmandag
Started free trial June 5. By June 7 or 8 I realized it wasn’t much help. Robots change their numbers so often, no one can keep up. The icon stayed on my iPhone after canceling, wouldn’t delete. Now I’m angry with app and robocalls
  • Great Potential

*EDIT JUN 5 2018 So it’s been about two weeks and I’ve only received about 4/5 robo-calls in total I’m pretty impressed. These days my phone seems to be rather quiet. It’s nice. I’m definitely considering going a week without to test the difference before making the decision to subscribe. Give this app a chance- it’s not perfect, but it’s worth trying and they’re an honest company. At the $2/$3 monthly cost- it’s really not bad at all. I haven’t gotten more than 5-6 robocalls (not blocked) since installing it a month ago. Which is impressive as I used to get roughly 2 or more, every other day! __________________________________ I really love that this app respects our privacy- it doesn’t send your data to a server, record information or sell any of your data to services. Kudos to the developers for their honesty. The concern I have with this app is its effectiveness- it seeks to prevent robo calls using the process of elimination- by slowly adding to a data base of bogus numbers. While this seems like a sensible solution- it’s kind of a hit and miss because most robo calls can switch numbers in an instant. I’ve had the app for about 8 hours now, and I just got two consecutive robo calls- the robo caller instantly switched numbers when I declined the first “neighbor spoof” number. The calls were within 30 second of each other. It’s an easy to use app and it has great promise but I’m not sure much can be done for the robocalling issue- unless technology advances and we figure out how to counter the algorithms utilized to make such devious and sneaky robo calls. It’s a shame robo calls even exist- it’s not like people even listen to them- what’s the point of trying to use them to scam people? Most people decline numbers they see as foreign- a petty way for a petty thief. Great promise as a future app- but still needs work. I will continue with the trial :)
  • Didn’t work for me

    By Colby'sSequel
I still received calls at all hours. And texts. Sure, a few went straight to voicemail. But the phone still rang through with many calls. Sadly, the technology isn’t there yet.
  • Good experience

    By MKellum1
I had a terrible time with robo calls before downloading this app. I was manually blocking offending numbers which was a pain and not that effective. Nomorobo catches a large percentage of the calls and even the ones that get through usually within a few minutes they've been logged to the known spammers list for the future. It's not perfect, but it's better than any solution I've had previously so I have to give them credit for that. Hope they continue to innovate the service to fight back against spammers.
  • Does Not Help at All

    By EC Mae
I have been regularly bothered by robocalls (upwards of 10 a day) for the last several months. I was excited to hear about a new solution to this. Since paying for a years subscription, the volume of calls (and texts) have only increased. With continued errors in refreshing the NomoRobo Blacklist and no (none!) decrease in robocalls, I cannot see the point of this app. Save your money. Throw your phone in a well- at least that might help.
  • When it worked it was good

    By Walls-1
Some bug in it. Fails to refresh blocklist with error 7. Once that happens, it stops blocking completely. Can only get it working after uninstall, reboot, and re-install. Glad i didn't sign up for more than monthly. Support says it is an apple problem and waiting for apple to fix. Will be cancelling my subscription now as it is useless as it is.
  • Did not block 1 call, not one

    By hunnybunnies
I really wanted this to work. I am inundated by spam calls by the hour! I have paid for apps, tried all of them, after this one I’m convinced it can’t be stopped. To date the only thing that works somewhat for me is that I pay for voicemail to text feature & as these criminals call me, once I block that number it also blocks their vm by virtue of that transcription to text. Until some higher power puts an end to these people, I am reduced to blocking them one at a time..
