BassForecast is the hottest Bass fishing forecast app. In our Pro Angler catch rate study, 68% more Bass were caught per hour than the average during top 20% BassForecast Rated days and a whopping 305% more during top 10% rated days. Designed exclusively for avid Bass Anglers and powered by AccuWeather, BassForecast analyzes many variables proven to affect Bass feeding behavior to produce a BassForecast Rating (BFR) from 1 (very tough conditions) to 10 (excellent conditions), for each day over the next 10 days…for any location in the United States. Knowing the feeding mood of the fish helps you in 2 big ways: #1 – Our rating system helps you plan 10 days in advance to be fishing during the highest rated days, which increases your odds. #2 – Our new Tips section helps you figure out bass catching patterns faster…even on low rated, tough days. How many times have you left the lake wondering what you could have done differently? BassForecast Tips offers Location, Presentation and Bait Tips dynamically adjusted to each day’s conditions, rating and season. Most importantly, BassForecast automatically updates its Ratings and Tips based on changing weather forecasts & conditions. Just enter your desired fishing locations and BassForecast does all the work for you. To develop its proprietary BassForecast Rating system, BassForecast researched temperature transfer reports from water engineers and bass feeding behavior research reports from fishery biologists. The system analyzes past actual and future forecast temperatures applying the Temperature Time Lag Effect© because water temps LAG air temps. It also adjusts for seasonal hours of daylight, wind speed & direction, moon phases, peak feeding periods, sky conditions, rain….and atmospheric frontal conditions since Bass feed more actively during a rapidly falling barometer and less actively following a rapidly rising barometer. Everything you need to plan the most effective Bass fishing trip are in this app! • Good at making apps! Not at fishing!

    By Macy@BHS
I really thought when I purchased the app, it would have some detailed fishing info for my area. Instead you get “best” fishing times, and a generic map that shows where fish might be this time of year. The bait selection part is the same way. Anybody that spends time bass fishing, already knows what baits to use this time of the year. I really don’t see the advantage of having it. Whoever made it is obviously good at making apps and not a fisherman. Why not put lake levels for the selected area in the app? How about water temp for local lakes? How about if local lakes are releasing water? How about water color for local lakes? As far as I am concerned the best time to fish, is whenever you get a chance. Not when a app tells me it’s a good time to go. I should have researched it more before I bought it.

Did the free download, opened app and couldn’t see forecast past current day.....really? To get the simple 10 day forecast you must pay $10.00 sorry I deleted immediately.

  • Great free version

    By arkansananglermike
I love the App. I kinda feel like the suggested baits are seasonal and not weather specific. I wish it had suggestions for multiple species! Also wish I didn’t have to pay for advanced version. Maybe roll an add bar at the bottom to cover the cost of memberships?
  • New Home for Bass Fishing

    By kihnpin
I just moved to a new town when I first downloaded BassForecast. I didn’t know much about the area and had no clue where I could fish. After some research I found a small lake with some promising locations. I used the app and made sure that I found the new spot just before the major evening bite. In less than a half hour I had caught three bass and one ended up being my PB for the summer. I’m convinced that BassForecast helped me have a great first experience at a new lake in a new town. Now I check the app every time I leave the house to fish.
  • Landed my best bass of the year!

    By HunterK13
I had the typical itch for fishing last month, and used the BassForecast app to help predict the best day to sneak out of work early and landed my best bass of the year when capitalizing on the early fall bite! App is awesome and a must have for predicting optimal fishing times for anglers with limited time to get in the water!
