Mutual is the largest and fastest growing LDS dating app! Mutual is a place where LDS singles can make meaningful connections that lead to real dating. The app was created by BYU grads who know how difficult it can be to meet others with similar interests and standards, especially outside of Provo. Mutual offers features that help you get to know other single Mormons beyond their profile photos, by highlighting information such as mission location, mutual friends, and interests you share in common with potential matches. The Mutual team is committed to upholding the standards of our faith, and making Mutual a genuine and safe place you can trust. Everyone is required to sign in through Facebook to ensure people are who they claim to be, and all profiles get reviewed by one of our LDS team-members before entering our community. We also make it easy to report inappropriate behavior in the app, to maintain a positive environment for everyone. In the words of Brigham Young, "This is the place." MUTUAL UP - MORE FEATURES Upgrade to Mutual Up for access to exclusive new features, including: Ward Hop to change your location and match around the world, Unlimited Double Takes to undo past swipes, Ninja Mode to go invisible to everyone except people you swipe up on, and Daily Notes to stand out and increase your chance of matching. ------------------- Mutual is free to use, but if you choose to purchase Mutual Up, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. They don’t let you see if you have mutual friends anymore until you purchase one of their deals.
  • Too many options or not enough options

I wish there was a distance between 250 Miles and infinity. Like 600 🤷🏻‍♀️ I want to be able to see guys from the neighboring states without seeing the guys on the other side of the country.
  • Messages don’t work

Worthless because the messages don’t work
  • Met my husband

I on and off have used mutual to maximize serendipity, meet people, and go on dates over the past two years. While online dating isn’t ideal, it has a place and this app does a pretty great job at connecting LDS singles. :) AND I actually met my fiancé through Mutual. I am crazy lucky and super grateful for this app.
  • Has issues, but gets me dates!

    By Southpaw102
THE POSITIVES: I have issues with the app yes, but the app is still able to do for me what it was meant to do. It makes breaking the ice and going on a first date easier then having to wait and see if the girl reciprocates interest before asking for her number and then again before asking her out (which if you don’t see them often enough, can take time). With all the negative reviews I felt it important to show what the app can do. Keep in mind I live in Utah county where there are a lot of mutual users. I am a short, late 20’s, not in shape, white guy, but I am still getting so many matches that I’ve had to schedule 4 dates a weekend to keep up. I only say this because it was annoying reading all of the reviews about how you can’t get matches. Hopefully that helps some of you on the fence about trying the app. Not everyone is having such horrible glitches to the point where the app is useless. Maybe it depends on the kind of phone you have? I have no idea. (I have an iPhone 8) Another positive thing about the app I want to mention is that there are hardly any adds which is awesome. And thanks for managing the profiles so well. I have never seen anything inappropriate etc. That being said I would be willing to have more adds if it meant you could hire more personnel to maintain the app better. Please do this. I also think it’s fantastic there is no swipe limit. That would be super lame. Lastly I want to thank you for making Facebook mandatory for creating an account, and ignoring the people complaining about it. Sure anyone could make a fake Facebook, but as soon as you open it up to just email it becomes spam central with porn boys trying to spam you. Just look at tinder. Besides Facebook (once the privacy thing gets settled) allows us to see who our mutual friends are with other users. This is particularly comforting for the girls so they can make sure they don’t connect with a psycho. And for those of you without Facebook. Just make a dang generic Facebook profile and then never get on again. Have the account just sitting there empty so you can use Mutual. It’s not that hard. THE NEGATIVES: I have dealt with my fair share of glitches and issues with the app...issues if resolved would make this go from 3, to 4 or 5 stars. None of mine have been too extreme except for the uploading pictures from the camera roll, which others have pointed out. When scrolling past a specific distance in my camera roll the app will crash every time. It’s the same distance every time. I take a lot of pictures of documents and equations and so I need to scroll to get to pictures of myself. I had to redownload pictures of myself to get them to show up in the front of my camera roll. What is with the pictures being zoomed in when you upload to your app? It’s the weirdest thing. We should be able to zoom in and out as we please when uploading. Tons of glitches with the tags on profiles. There should be a way to go to a new paragraph when writing your about me. I found a way around this but it’s dumb it isn’t an option. There are more glitches but I don’t have time right now so I’ll update this review later.
  • Filter does not work

    By dayanela
I don’t like it when I decide to filter a certain distance. I live in California and want to date around my areas but then it’s starts including people in UT. I am not interested in long distance dating!
  • Talk more with people aka guys

    By Summa_Summer_SummerTime
It would be helpful if people actually talked on here. But besides that it’s been a great app!
  • This app crashes constantly

    By BusyDadof2
OK so let’s be real for a second. Apps crash from time to time and that’s OK. No big deal, relaunch it and move on. But this app will always crash every time I open up my camera roll and swipe about three or four times down. What’s frustrating about that is I can’t post older photos of myself which is awful considering this is a dating app and posting your best photos is critical. It’s been like this for months. Update the app so it stops crashing and allows you to scroll through your entire camera roll.
  • Hasn’t worked since I’ve bought it

    By Moura63
So if I could give it zero stars I would have. Customer support is woefully slow. Perhaps I will get a refund.
  • Super glitchy

Can’t even update your profile without it crashing
