  • Dirty Subscription

I love the app and think it works well. It has been the only alarm that has been able to wake me up on time. With that being said the 7 day subscription is dirty. Last weekend I decided to finally try out premium and would cancel on the seventh day. I come around to today to find a $43 receipt from Apple emailed to me. Panicked I tried to backtrack and cancel it. That didn’t work and I was heavily disappointed. For them to charge over $40 dollars for a years worth of premium is outrageous without warning. I understand I should have remembered to cancel my 7 day subscription but when I applied to try the 7 day subscription there should have been a option for one month of premium. It only gave me an option for a years worth which seems pretty dirty as lots of people will forget to cancel and find an over $40 receipt sent to them. Anyway, I am hoping my parents will help me pay this. Thanks for the extra year of premium I didn’t ask for in the first place. My fault for not checking but it shouldn’t have been so dirty. One more thing, when I tried canceling the subscription it said I had to cancel it 24 hours before the seventh day. Yet again quite sketchy in my opinion.

I didn't see anything about a trial period or a charge after it. After a couple days I get an apple receipt for $42.39. Refund me, please! Update - Dev was responsive to my email and helped me contact Apple for a refund

I have a roommate and so since they’ve introduced the microphone sleep detection as the only option, the sounds I make are much quieter and not picked up by the app. I wish it would register my sleep!

This app is not accurate. I am pretty knowledgeable of sleep cycles and sleep architecture as I study it at university. Although I have insomnia, there’s no way I’m only in REM and deep sleep (slow wave sleep) for 10 minutes a night... I had multiple dreams last night, an indicator of multiple REM cycles, which are longer than 10 minutes. I’ve used this app by laying it on a table some nights and others on my bed next to my pillow. The results always say most of my time is in light sleep. Use with caution.
