Free version: - Device wide tracker protection, 2x faster page loads, reduced bandwidth, better battery life - Easy to use firewall, block whatever you want - Encrypt every DNS lookup your domain makes, to prevent tracking of your web history and app usage Upgrade: Secure Mode encrypts all HTTP traffic (including in-app and background) to keep your sensitive data secure. Why secure HTTP and DNS matter? Your device loads thousands of unsecured HTTP and DNS connections everyday. These unencrypted connections are vulnerable to legal and illegal collection of your sensitive information in transit. Our technology encrypts all your DNS and HTTP connections. We NEVER store or log any traffic routed through our servers and don’t track your IP address or any other personal info, except the info you volunteer. Our Tracker Protection technology, integrated into many popular browsers including Firefox, is now available to block trackers that invisibly collect data inside all your apps and browsers. Pro blocks privacy invasive trackers across your entire device by setting a DNS in the SmartVPN that prevents tracking domains from connecting to your device. These trackers violate your privacy, slow page loads, and waste your bandwidth and battery life. Our tracker protection is solely focused on consumer privacy and we have a well defined policy, which you can view here: We are not an ad blocker and never accept money for whitelisting. In our Pro application you have full control of which trackers are blocked or unblocked. • Works fantastically....

I don’t understand how so many people have issues- I am currently running developer 12.4 beta, and within the past 30 days, this app has prevented collection of 1.4 gigs of data on my device. I have settings changed to “Agressive” and even with that, my Gmail is fine. The only adverse effect i have is i cannot click on the top search engine results that are sponsored or advocated by google, the hyperlinks will not work, and a few emails do not load (mostly advertisemen emails). No big deal for me, It’s an easy workaround for the benefits this app provides. No sarcasm intended, but If you cannot figure such easy workarounds, or if your social network apps are that important, you may need to reconsider your use of VPNs.
  • Almost but not quite.

At the tlme of writing this. I downloaded cos I read an article which promoted it (surely that wasn’t marketing). My take? It’s okay. Needs work and the app has lots of warts e.g. when active it blocks images for some of my normal marketing emails... and I’m not sure if that’s a bug or a feature because these emails are not “spam”. Don’t subscribe for now — you’re just paying to beta-test.
  • Breaks Siri

    By ronpluth
Mostly works, but not compatible with Siri. Not sure why this is, since there doesn’t seem to be anything blocked during Siri attempts; maybe it has to do with where the server is. Anyway I’ll be canceling, since this is some pretty key functionality in iOS.
  • Gives you control - highly recommended

Havent seen a similar app for iOS. While the desktop market is flooded with various browser plugins & apps to stop companies from tracking you online, didnt see much choices for iphone. This one fills the gap providing you granular Controls on what domains are allowed & disallowed when using the ios apps.
  • Poor VoiceOver support

Users with limited eyesight will find it impossible to use this app.
  • No Issues

I read a review about this amazing app in the Washington Post and thought I would give it a try and got the full version. My wish list is simple - for not very tech savvy folks like myself a little instruction book would be so so helpful: what the heck is DNS and why should I or shouldn’t I. Thanks much for the app.
  • Missing landscape mode for iPad ..

    By .: LoveFire :.
Lets add that Landscape Orientation please for us iPad Pro users who use are iPad in landscape mode almost indefinitely; with a smart keyboard. Keyboard shortcuts would also be nice to have.
  • Avoid

Can’t figure out how to reset to “Default settings. After adding some custom blocks I could no longer ad a photo to text messages. This App is a mess. Delete.
  • Interferes too much with functionality

    By Nostromost4
This doesn’t live up to its promise, beyond letting you see all of the data your phone shares but giving no guidance on what is advisable to block. Making the Google filter more aggressive than default interferes with too many websites. Great idea, but needs work.

If the software is worth buying it shouldn’t try to trick the user into a continuing subscription. Let the user install it and use it the. Then turn off all functionality pending an agreement to pay. If the software was worthy then people will pay
