  • Very Satisfied Customer

    By z3nbum
Version 1.5.1 works perfectly so far on my XR running iOS 13.1 beta. All previous bugs I had found have been fixed and new UI looks great. I really like the new filters for the activity log. Haven’t seen any issues with app forgetting custom settings like others have reported. Secure Mode and Encrypted DNS work well with no perceptible slowdown. I highly recommend this app.
  • The Fresh Re-do

This is only on iOS peeps BUY ALL THE OPTIONS So You Too Can See All the New Screens Lending a new intuitive interface. Be it a little more complicated it does seem to be what people wanted, )sigh(
  • Does what it says. Should be a default app.

The app does what it says. Gives you information about what’s connecting to your phone/apps and controls to allow or block them. I’m using the default blocking and haven’t had any issues blocking legit traffic which seems to be the main complaint I see in the reviews. My only complaint would be the subscription price feels a bit high compared to a standard VPN - add Cloudflare DNS encryption (via their free app) but to be fair that’s comparing apples to oranges. Great app. Thank you for making this available. Should be built into the OS.
  • Works good except one app

    By Boris112
Hi developers, love this app and I know it protects my privacy because some very intrusive apps do not work (however I’d still like to use them) case in point coupon rewards app “Checkout 51” says it not connected online until I disable privacy pro. If there’s anything that can be done about this I’d appreciate it. Update: discover app also doesn’t work. Credit card company.
  • Blocks annoying ads

Like a previous reviewer, a pleasant side effect is blocking of horrible ads on Words with Friends and other apps.
  • *still* forgets my settings, still needs iPad landscape mode, sometimes stops working

    By GB13😎
2019-09-10: Another app update, another bout of app amnesia – when I updated the app on my iPhone, it once again forgot all of my custom settings. 😡 How can this continue to be an issue? Also, despite raising my hopes with talk of a UI update, it *still* doesn’t implement landscape mode for iPad. Finally, something I didn’t report before – I’ve noticed that this app will sometimes just stop filtering for a while, without alerting me. I can see evidence of this in the activity graph, where a device I’ve been regularly using unexpectedly shows that nothing was blocked over the past couple days. How can the app be unaware that it’s no longer filtering traffic? I’d like to be able to just trust this app to do its job, but it requires far too much babysitting to ensure it hasn’t randomly stopped working or forgotten all of my settings. 2019-06-09 review: The recent options to block more of Facebook and Google are welcome, but every so often the app forgets all of my custom block settings for Facebook and Google, as well as the custom domains I’ve entered to block. I have to keep checking to see if they’ve vanished, and re-enter them if they have. I didn’t have to do this previously, so this seems to be a bad regression making the app less reliable than it used to be. Aside from that, my biggest gripe is the lack of landscape mode on the iPad, especially for an app that’s been around as long as this one. Some of us use our iPads almost exclusively in landscape, so it’s a real pain to have to keep turning it to its side just to use this app. I’m also disappointed that there’s no iCloud sync between devices, I have to manually keep my settings in sync between iPhone and iPad (especially annoying when my custom settings keep vanishing).
  • Can’t stream while it’s on

    By jigga_c4
Figured it out today! Sometimes I can’t connect to certain services and things tend to take a long time to load. Finally realized, that it was the VPN! So I had to turn it off. Def notice no personalized ads as much with it turned on. Guess I’ll leave it on when I’m not trying to stream.
  • Great firewall for iPhone

    By skypemike
I love this app. Great app to let you know all the user tracking that goes on when you visit websites and even just use the apps on your device. E.g. my old home security cam app was pinging sited in China whenever I used it... Great customization for choosing which domains to block. (Blocked the .cn China domains used by that security cam app). And you can use a partial domain to block which is great to block ad sites and other trackers. Highly recommended!
  • Blocks Ads!!

A side effect of this app is it blocks certain ads from websites and apps completely! This is one of my fav things about the app.
  • A little concerned

    By Maderacopy
I was on an flight and opened up Minecraft. All of a sudden someone joined my game. I immediately closed the game and went into settings. I thought maybe the VPN was turned off. I was not. I closed the VPN then opened it again. I went back into Monecraft and again someone joined my game. If this uses a VPN how does someone join my game?
