  • Love this app

I have always found it difficult to stick with a workout program, or just with working out consistently. This app has helped change that. The app is user friendly and provides many different workout options. The food guides and weekly meals are great too!
  • Great but needs tweaks

I love the improvements made to the app since a year ago when I tried and hated it lol. I enjoy the workouts and the idea of food plans but so far wish for two changes: 1. Be more customizable. Need to be able to retroactively add workouts. It won’t allow me to add a workout I forgot to record yesterday. 2. When doing a light workout, if I plan to walk for 35 min but only manage 25, it won’t record the walk at all. I can say I’m quitting bc I ran out of time but it should still record what I did. 3. Meal plans... I eat regular but am simply trying to avoid dairy, however the only meal plan that allows me to is full vegan. So the meal plan is somewhat a waste for me. Wish I could opt out of specific foods like on “eatthismuch.com”

Do NOT download this App. I made that mistake and they have been fraudulently charging my card for over a year now ever since I downloaded it. The charge comes up as iTunes $19.99 so you have to dig to figure out what it actually is. Beware of their games to get your Apple ID and credit card info.
  • Calendar is HORRIBLE

I spent $120 on this app because I loved the idea of having something that would track my workouts while I did them. Seeing my progress on a calendar is the most helpful tool for me to stay motivated and consistent with fitness. Unfortunately, this calendar is completely subversive to that goal. It randomly adds and deletes completed workouts, it resets weeks into your progress and there’s no way to get your original timeline back, and there’s no way to add workouts to previous days when you might not have had your phone on you. I don’t care if this is just an exercise platform with some bonus features. If you are charging this ridiculous amount for an app, then every aspect needs to be flawless. As it is, the programming for the other features is more simplistic than a pre-schooler’s app. I’ve already been back and forth with Tech Support and they just keep telling me they’re working on improving the activity tracker. If they don’t majorly overhaul these issues in the next update, I will be asking for a refund.
  • My go-to fitness app

By far the best fitness app I have ever used. And such a good value to include so many types of workouts. The workouts are tough- but they are so effective and quick to fit into a busy schedule. Kayla workouts make me look and feel my best

Very organized but it crashes sometimes. Often my music doesn’t want to play during my workouts and my water intake doesn’t reset everyday. I also wish there was an option for keeping the workout going while on lock screen to save battery. During cool downs, it would be nice to have an alarm or a sound that rings once the 30 seconds are up, so one doesn’t have to constantly keep looking down at our phone to make sure we’re not over those 15 or 30 seconds!
  • Good app, but could be great

I’ve had the sweat app for about a year and use it on and off for everything from BBG to PWR workouts. Overall it’s a great app - rarely any bugs and easy to maneuver and use. However, my one BIG complaint about the app is the auto-forwarding of program weeks. As someone who sprinkles in Sweat workouts only occasionally, it would be much more convenient to be able to pick a program, week, and workout each time, rather than having to choose a specific program and the weeks automatically moving forward each Sunday. This setup would also allow users to look ahead at workouts in upcoming weeks and better customize programs using all of the great workouts offered in the Sweat app.
  • Great app, but not perfect

I’m loving the app and feeling stronger after just a few weeks of using it. I do not have a gym membership and work out at home and so far that has been working out great. The only problem I see is that the exercises look to be getting a little repetitive. I wish there were a better variety of exercises for people who work out at home. I’m worried that I will get bored with it.

I’m enjoying the workout program overall - I’ve been following PWR for 12 weeks or so and the workouts are fun and easy to incorporate into my lifestyle. Feels like I hit the major muscle groups every week and the supersets and circuits make the workouts extra challenging. My major complaint is that certain parts of the app behave unpredictably. What drives me INSANE is during supersets you use the next arrow to say you completed the exercise and after each two exercises the app times out a 30 second rest period and *sometimes* it tells me when the 30 second rest is over and sometimes it doesn’t. Even during the same workout it’s like a 50/50 chance it will tell me the rest period is over. This is frustrating when you’re working hard and want to count on the app to alert you it’s time to get moving again. Other than that bug and some of the UI challenges I encountered when I first began using the app, I really enjoy it. The app works well enough overall and the program is easy to follow and encouraging. I’d recommend this app and the program to a friend.
