    I am a big fan of Kelsey Wells, however I just didn’t find the app that user friendly. I love the idea of the app, but I kind of wish it was more straight forward and easier to navigate like Kayla’s bikini body guide. My only other issue is that I cancelled the subscription directly from the app, and then a couple weeks later confirmed from my ITunes profile that they still had me signed up. So if you cancel...double check that you are also unsubscribed from your iTunes account. I took a screen shot both times, seems a little sneaky to me.

    I only gave it a 4 because it gives you a daily meal plan to go by but I wish it was more common food choices to pick from. There are things on the list that I never even heard of. Also there is a glitch on the app that when you touch an exercise for an explanation it won’t close back out causing you to lose your progress on the daily exercise.

  • Great app but still needs some work

    I love this app! It gives a lot of options on what kind of workouts to do but I’ve only used Kayla’s workouts so far. I love the community section and the educational section. I’ve learned a lot! I use this app on my iPhone and not an Apple Watch. I recommend this app all the time to friends and family! My one complaint: during the cool down and warm up session there are timed segments and it would be super helpful if I didn’t have to manually press a button to go to the next stretch. It would be nice if it was like I had a real person watching a timer for me and just telling me when to go to the next stretch but instead I have to watch the timer myself because there is no sound when the timer ends and press a button for the next stretch. This also happens during the workout but I understand why and I think it’s fine. But warm up and cool down should just give me an indication that my 30 seconds are over for my right leg and I should move to the left leg.

  • Apple Watch Functionality Not Great

    I was super hyped to try out the Sweat App. I had done the BBG guides & the all in yearly purchase price for the app is in my opinion, cheap for what I thought I was getting. However, the Fierce program I selected wasn’t available on my watch so I had to switch to PWR. Which... is decent for a weight lifting routine, but I was really looking for something more weights meets hiit that I could mindlessly follow & push myself with just my watch rather than having to constantly look at my phone for transitions. I know the Fierce program has been out for awhile as they are releasing a Fierce 2... not sure how the app markets itself as having cross functionality when it in reality isn’t capable. There also wasn’t an option to delete a workout I accidentally did because I was trying to use my phone and the watch at the same time (so it claimed I did the workout twice.) Then, when I searched the issue on google my phone kept reverting to the sweat app forum & wouldn’t bring up the articles I was looking for. (The forum search option wasn’t loading within the app.) - Jury is out if I’ll continue past 7 days because I think I’d like to wait till some of the kinks are worked out so I don’t end up “rage quitting” the workout regimen based on my annoyance of the technology :P Hopefully my review isn’t too mean - I do really want to love it!
