I used for 3 days. I got around 7 calls that should have been blocked. It blocked only 1. Wasn’t effective at all. Cancel my subscription.

My voicemails are going to RoboKiller. How do I stop it?
  • Blocks Even Contacts

Even my personal and business contacts were being blocked. The problem is you won’t know it’s occurring until you meet with one or more of your contacts being blocked. The support for this app is not great either. They seem competent, but they are too few of them and their response time is several days.

I’d give the app a zero review if I could. During the 7 day trial started having voicemail issues. ATT after 3 days of working on it determined that this app forwards all calls, whether the caller is in your contacts list or not, to an obscure number, so callers must manually input your phone for you to leave a voicemail. Barely got my $30 refund. And according to Apple customer service, may never get another one for as long as I live. Just amazing.
  • Too many unknown calls get through

I have it set to only allow calls that are in my contact list. It is let's to many unknown calls ring through. Not worth the money.
  • Not working out for me

I was excited over the positive reviews for this app. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work for me. Each time I get an unknown number and add it to RoboKiller, the same number keeps calling. RoboKiller never blocked that number. Not once. Not quite sure why it won’t work for me. I gave it a try for over a week. Perhaps there’s an issue with my phone?
  • This app breaches your privacy! Read carefully

I reported this to the app developer, who is too slow to respond to what happened, and to Apple, as this app breaches privacy. I installed it today, followed the instructions exactly. Opened it up and found 49 voicemails in the app dating back two weeks! I thought the app maybe went through my call log and identified spammers. Nope. The messages were for someone else! Some poor guy's phone messages were being diverted to MY app! I have messages from an attorney, a doctor office, his friends... All personal messages that I should in no way have access to. Until they can identify and kill this bug, DO NOT USE THIS APP. I was able to find out the owner of the other phone number, call him, and on his end he is losing voice mails.
  • Buggy!

Every time the app updates you have to uninstall, restart your phone, reinstall and set it up again. It’s beyond frustrating. Update 1/30: still happens. 2/15 Call blocking has disabled itself three times this week.
  • Useless

The app didn’t actually block any calls. If the call was in state but not in my contacts, it would say probable spoof spam call. (Like I couldn’t figure that out myself.). If the call was from out of state or out of the country, it didn’t do anything. Just paying to get a notice containing information that was already obvious.
