I have had this app for several months and it works excellent. I get such satisfaction from adding any numbers that get through to their list. I have not had one person tell me that they could not get through to my number. I see blocked calls coming through every day.
  • Found App Recording My Conversations

After noticing that I was not receiving voicemails, I contacted RoboKiller customer support. The rep confirmed that there were known issues with the app and Sprint's voicemail. As a solution, he pushed an app update to me to allow access to the RoboKiller voicemail function. Once updated I noticed that I had far more voicemails than normal. Upon listening to them, I found that the app had been recording the other party in my actual phone conversations. I've cancelled my subscription and deleted the apps association with my phone number. I will also be contacting privacy and tech sites to alert them to this concerning breach of privacy.

I’ve gotten dozens of spam calls, labeled “likely spam” ignored by the app. It hasn’t answered one call.
  • Kinda like it....

I’ve had the app for a couple of weeks but people who are in my personal directory are getting the crazy RoboKiller messages and they’re deleting me! Anyone else have this problem?

I had the app for close to one year and have given up and cancelled it. It was about 70% effective at blocking initially and now ineffective and worse, installing and reinstalling the app to try to get it to work overrides my personal voicemail and answers with a female voice recording that leaves callers without ability to leave a message. I lost 3 hours correcting this problem with Verizon. Finally, for the past 2 months every single call rings through and the call list on the app about half the time says it was blocked. This is no better than the ability to block free on Verizon AFTER an unwanted call rings in. The answer bots were fun while it was actually blocking but once the call rings my phone the aggravation of the disturbance isn’t worth it.
  • It's great when it works.

The issue with RoboKiller is that most of the time my calls don't even go though their system. I use Verizon and I make sure to activate the system by using the app to forward my calls to them. Nonetheless, I get a lot of spam calls. When I check the app it doesn't even show any calls for today. This has been the painful aspect of dealing with this app. I hope they improve this! Otherwise the app is nearly useless...
  • Not very effective

A significant majority of spam calls are not blocked. In the last week two calls were not blocked that only indicated an area code followed by six digits. That alone should have been easily recognized as a spam call.
