Description

One of kind touch timer app. Set Timer with Just 2 touches. Read Some of our reviews: (The iPhone App Review) "The app presents us with a very touch-oriented and quite beautiful timer for the iPad, providing us with a nifty way to quickly setup and manage basic timer functions" (App Picker) "My two-year-old figured this out quickly and was winding the hands around the clock to set the timer. She’d then tap it and it would start counting down. She thought this was a great game" (Speechie Apps) "It’s amazing how much a visual reminder of time passing/deadlines can do to increase efficiency in a way that simply looking at the clock can’t." http://www.theiphoneappreview.com/2012/09/timer-touch-hd-ipad-app-review/ http://www.apppicker.com/reviews/23543/timer-plus-touch-hd-app-review https://speechieapps.wordpress.com/2012/08/20/timer-touch-hd/ Make every moment count with this visual Timer App. This is the most intuitive timer app available in the app store. Touch the app and move your fingers in clockwise direction to set time. Timer is shown in different colors for - Minutes in RED - Hours in BLUE - Seconds in GREEN - 24+ alarm ringers to choose from! The counter keeps going even if you stop the app by putting in the background or get interrupted by a phone call. Relaunch the app and see the timer still running. It stops ONLY if you stop it. **I wish my response could follow yours. First, when you ask for feedback you can't act offended when you get it. Second, there are several apps that continue to work after your phone locks. "White Noise Ambience" is one. I wasn't trying to be mean, I was simply trying to state my opinion.**. I have visual timers in my classroom so I was excited when I came across this App. I quickly determined this app does not meet my needs for the following reasons: 1. The phone's ringer has to be turned on in order I know when times runs out. As a rule in my classroom, I keep my ringer turned off, therefore I can't hear when time ends. 2. If I set the time, got busy working or studying, my phone's screen would lock and I would have to get completely back into the app to check the time. 3. If the phone's screen locks, you are not notified that time has ended even if your ringer is turned on. 4. If I set this timer for a student, I want my screen locked so they cannot have access to anything in my phone. I would like to be able to see the timer on my locked screen as well as hear the timer with or with my ringer turned on. Until that time, this app is useless to me.

As an educator, this type of timer is one of the most effective for small children and children with disabilities whose concept of time is still developing. I'm a retired teacher of students with disabilities, we used this type of timer (as a physical device, not an app) in the classroom. Now I use the app with my 3 year old granddaughter to let her know when it is time to stop an activity and move to the next. She never argues with the timer. 🙂

I wanted a timer that was quick and easy to set and this app meets that requirement. The old iPod click wheel type of gesture is what makes this wonderful. Newbie tip: make sure your volume is turned up to hear the notifications. It's music volume vrs the side ringer volume buttons. Just go in your music app and make sure you can hear your music. If so you'll hear this app when the timer goes off. I had this problem in the beginning and I didn't give up until I figured it out.

As a parent and a ECSE, this app is great when giving a warning for transitions. It shows the student/child(ren) how much time left for an activity and or when a transition is coming.

I am very disappointed in this app... looks like a great idea, but there is no sound when the timer is up... and there isn't anything on the screen to indicate the time is up except that the clock is blank....I wanted to give it zero stars but couldn't so I am giving a 1 begrudgingly

Great app but alarm quit working recently. I repurchased thinking I needed to upgrade but alarm does not work on this version either. Please fix as this is the best app out there for keeping students on track.
