  • Already revert to MW 2

    By kooleelee
Update 11/6 Developer help me to revert to MW 2 now. -1 star for the unpredictable design. Trying MoneyWiz 3 is easy. But you can’t use MoneyWiz 2 Standard again after login on MW 3. I feel worried about my data.In MW 3 Data is not bond with the device(if you log out, data will disappear), nor with the sync account(if you are not premium user).

I use Setapp, which include money wiz, on Mac and money wiz 2 on the phone. And I just found out I couldn’t sync between computer and phone because the version difference. I try this new version and find out I have to pay another 50 per year to just use sync feature.
  • Why do I have to pay again?

    By jimtorp
My device upgraded to MoneyWiz 3 from MoneyWiz 2. In MoneyWiz 2, my wife’s phone and mine synced. Now MoneyWiz 3 wants me to pay $60/year for a service I had for free on their old app and I can’t even revert back now. Does this sound correct or am I missing something?
  • Great App but could use some minor improvements

    By Gold_Trader
Some repeating bills and income occur on say for example third Wednesday of the month. MoneyWiz cannot accommodate that. It only allows daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
  • Not functional

    By Disappointedcustomerwontbeback
My checking and savings acct still don’t sync after 6 months. Money wiz blames sync bit but if you sell the program you are responsible for troubleshooting also!! The balancing portion of the program doesn’t make any sense! You shouldn’t be able to go back to prior months once they are reconciled. I’ve never seen any program like this(not in a good way)! Income is an issue for me also.....if I go shopping spend $20 and return $10 then the expense for shopping should decrease by $10-I should not have income for $10 ugh. For someone without accounting experience it may be fine but I won’t be renewing.
  • Great Customer Service

I love Moneywiz. The only thing keeping it from getting five stars is the issue with auto update still not working. When I perform a bank sync it has to be manually refreshed each time.
  • Works perfectly for my needs

    By Fisheadd
I used a different app for a few years. It was easy and it allowed me and my wife to sync transactions. For us, syncing transactions is mandatory. My wife, a finance executive, has explicit requirements for money tracking software. I almost started writing our own app to meet her needs when she found MoneyWiz. Good: - Syncing transactions works great. - I like that it recognizes the amount field and shows a number pad. - When you enter the payee the keyboard enter key becomes ‘next’, another excellent feature when I noticed. OK: - The interface is not quite what I expect on an Apple device, but it is functional. Recommendations: - Move the ok/checkbox to a lower corner rather than upper right. - When in the payee field, keep the next button above the keyboard like when entering the amount OR - When in the Amount field place a next button below backspace. - When you press next to the category, use autocomplete rather than immediately going to the list view. If I want the full list, I will press the > otherwise I like to see the transaction to decide where it should go.
  • Nice app if want kill your time

You can take a nap while this refreshing your accounts, and by the way you need to refresh your accounts manually.
  • Disgraceful!

I bought the first version of Moneywiz for the phone and then I bought one for the MacBook. When the second version came out, I wanted to buy one for my iPad put they pulled the first version of moneywiz for the the iPad forcing me to buy the second version for the iPhone and the iPad making the first version obsolete. Although the design and functionality of the app was fine, those greedy money haulers forced the AD SPAN in an update even though I paid for all of my apps and have not requested for adds. Another annoying thing is that they put it on the bottom of the screen instead of the top making you more likely to click on it. They even admit that they did it to get the money from the ads. Developers are VERY Unethical (I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!)
  • Easy and comprehensive, but proprietary sync

    By aliiien
I wanted a finance app that I could do fully manually, so the bank connect subscription doesn’t bother me as I wouldn’t use it. But to have to use a proprietary sync service - and subscribe to access it - is unacceptable. I want control over my information on multiple devices, full stop. Unfortunately, that means I won’t be using MoneyWiz.
